Christina's voice is so balanced now. The head voice is fuller/more resonant. Her high chest is strong and clear. The lower part is well supported. Also, her signature distortion (rasp) is only used as a stylistic accent. She's no longer using is the distortion to carry mid to high belts. Her belts ring and are sustained to the heavens. Overall, her voice sounds rich, immersive and balanced. Great job, Christina!!!

Her voice (and controversial technique) has given her a level of success that most of us will never achieve, and she is still able to use it wonderfully in a way that touches people. This is something that even my favorites - Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey - were not able to do after two decades of their careers.

Using technique is a choice, even if you were blessed with a great singing tone. Just because you are a great natural driver, it doesn't mean you should avoid a seatbelt.
