"Vocally shes aging backwards", word! Despite the horrible sound engineering, she shines. Chris has been sabotaged multiple times in her experience so this is just a walk in the park for her. As for the delay, imo it actually ended up adding to the heavenly, other worldly nature of this song. At first i was like WTF?! but then it fell into place if this was a creative decision lol. most likely a soundboard issue, but shit it works after the second listen. Haha. She takes long to record new albums because she doesn't want to spit them out like for instance ellie goulding and rihanna used to do. Because the quality of the songs are not superb that way and she wants to be involved closely with the recording and mixing of the songs. The touring thing has to do with her children. She wants to raise her kids as normal as possible with a steady routine and she was scared to go on tour without pushing the kids to the background. But she's obviously found a good balance with the last 2 years that she's touring.

What I think happened as she matured, Christina and along with vocal lessons, she now understand that oversinging does not equate to good singing, nor good technique and that Oversinging does not necessarily capture the real feeling or meaning of a song. A voice like hers, she now realizes and learned that all she needs is to take care her voice, provide good clean technique, and allow her voice, technique, and her emotions equally to carry the correct meaning of the song and not just emotion alone (emotions alone causes one to get away from the real meaning of a song). Because of this is why I believe her voice as you say has aged backwards 😂😂😂 Beautifully done Christina!! That's the best from her I have heard for me❤
