Countering Meryl is easy, you can react to her switch skill. The real issue is how to counter Nemesis 🙃 totems everywhere, free aoe slow, healing, stuns.. haha.. ha.. oh and comboing you with jetpack miles in air.

easy, just get out from it range and nemesis lose so much then. Meryl is defenitly harder bcs u have to come to her, if no then she can use grapling or she can use other characters like samir to jsut zone u and kill u from long range
@@elitarnywojwonikbronzu1173 ?? The arena gets smaller and smaller and you want to get away from nemesis? You can even dodge Meryl switch. Nemesis totems you're just screwed + aoe slow field spam. Also did you miss the part in the video where he's sniping miles in the air??

@@skylerfreeman1173 but till it get smaller u can just outrange her with samir, he can't outdemage her and outheal her so he HAVE to come closer or just die. Ye he is sniping but its easy to doge and she can't just spam it. To get this slow she have to come closer or u easily doge it, if she come close just calm down use for example tornado during her animation, it will buy u time etc etc. Just think. I was talking only about totems bcs its the biggest issue (and that slow but like i said she can't spam it) In like 10 matches vs nemesis i only lose 2 of them. Huma is more unfair then nemesis that is just strong but possible to outplay her if u are just better then ur enemy
@@elitarnywojwonikbronzu1173 yeah but the problem here is that your thinking the opposing nemisis only has nemisis... nothing is stopping them from spamming totem off cd and engaging with crow when the arena shrinks. btw just found out that theres some kinda tabbing mechanic so getting out of range of all ranged users becomes virtually impossible

literally abuse Nemesis is all you have to do. spam 2 ults and win, I hope she gets nerfed soon she takes no skill and her ult lasts too long, at least you should not be able to stack them, 1 should go away. The pvp arena is too small and 2 of them cover the whole arena.
@Satoru Gojo nah I think she's just gonna be the 3rd pvp meta together with nemesis and meryl. I feel like the 3rd meta pvp unit is still not decided yet and frigg is gonna take that spot.
If you look at the win rates of the top players it’s actually very balanced everyone’s win rate is near 40,50 and 60
But anyone on mobile has no chance against people cheesing it like he was
@@kevinv171 your right I’m sorry for forgetting about our mobile brothers i wonder how mobile players will survive pvp, they might have to try a type of stall comp if possible maybe to cover their health over lack of combat against pc but idk mobile vs pc sounds hard
@@Tiger10Gaming I've gotten 7-winstreak on mobile twice. Only broke my winstreak when I lost to the people using the tab tab method hitting me across the map using nemesis.. and the other one from a crow destroying me using the jetpack method when I use my meryl discharge

My one issue with pvp is just how much of a lag fest is a lot of the time. I'm perfectly fine in literally every other form of content that involves other people, but for whatever reason I get matches where the other person is warping like crazy and hitting me from the other side of the arena with a melee weapon.
That is exactly the reason why I don’t want to pvp.

On mobile you can use tab spam by constantly hitting the chemistry equilibrium looking sign while you attack. I’m not certain of the range and I also don’t have nemesis. I just did a little testing with coco😅

Nemesis isn't the only problem my guy. Crow is the problem in the meta now.
@@lennardkoh2346 crow is easy to dodge, i can counter him with samir skill + electrified + dodge attack to lift him up
@@lennardkoh2346 with right timing to dodge then attack you can cancel his spiral drive spam

People think Nemesis is op, lmao. Her damage is pretty bad and she is just there to annoy you at most if you know how to play. Meryl on the other hand can clap your cheeks from 100 to 0 in one combo as a tank unit.
Love the video, came up with almost same combo(I prefer magnetic storm) to counter Meryl and got 2nd grand marshal on the server I play at.

if a character can beat op character with a pretty good consistency, it means that the said character is itself op, it's awfully obvious. also, in the case with nemesis, she came after launch of the game and after some characters, and knowing that powercreep in ToF is crazy, it doesn't require much braincells to understand, that nemesis is the most op character rn and will be for a while
your marshal rank is the confirmation to that
What I used to fuck up Meryl teams is abuse the shit out of jetpack and all my real damage came from Crow and Magnetic Storm.
Even then, most of the time it was really difficult to kill any decent Meryl player. Nemesis was just there so I could bring the game to a halt and play time as much as possible for the timer to run out and win by hp %. So full cheese coward tactics, which would get countered most of the time if they also ran Coco.
Sure, Nemesis is op in a way even with all the nerfs but Meryl is god tier in PvP compared to others. Not sure if 50% win rate is good consistency required for marshal rank because thats what the first marshal on the server had. That requirement for highest rank seems a bit low to me.

I have nemises/meryl/king/samir/huma. shiro 1 star/ tsubasa 2 star what'd be the best pve team and pvp? I don't have the mats to lvl all of them atm.
For pvp you can play : Nemesis , Meryl , Samir or Nemesis , Meryl , Huma
Also don't worry about stars. They just get maxed out on apex pvp

I counter crow by using cybernetic arm and glider , I wait to waste their stamina and resources then get back to them with full meryl discharge

You wait for discharge of crow (either from coco or nemesis) and should set up 2 electrodes from nemesis, then use the slow of nemesis then activate crow discharge skill, and then boom enemy hp melted
