A “simple” design scheme for Oak Alley

A tree theme and a goal of holding down the price dictate design choices for this traditional quilt. Fast, freehand quilting includes continuous curves, a flowing vine, oak leaves, and an open feather border. I outlined a print and eased in fullness on a wavy border.

Yes. That’s a lot of quilt. They’re always bigger than I think they are. In hindsight, I’d go even simpler.
