02/28/1980 Progress Report --------------------------- Well, the progress on the construction is phenomenal! The boys have been working their hardest, but not to a point where we are all gasping for air and dying of heatstroke. Mr. Afton and Mr. Manchester have been friendly around us, hell Mr. A brought us lunch. Those two have got to be the best CEOs I've seen yet. ..Oh, right, the construction. We are getting closer to finishing this whole thing, currently, we're working on getting the electricity working. As of now, none of the props or animatronics have been brought over from Mr. Afton's little side business, I think he calls it, "Afton Electronics" or something of the sort. I don't know, as I've been focused on making sure Oliver doesn't smash his head in. He's the rookie on the team and he doesn't have the most careful hand, but he's trying at the very least. We're hoping to finish all of this by next month. - Gavin Wellsworn 05/12/1980 Personal Status ------------------------------------- Only two months into this company, and already I'm pleased with what we've done. The animatronics, the stage dressing, the music, the food.. It's all actually really good! Especially those inter-changing suit to animatronic characters.. I think the workers call them, "Springlocks" Apparently, they can change the robot to go into a mode where you can wear it, and then change it back to where it works as a regular animatronic! What's more genius then that? ..Well, I admit, from how the company started, those machines must've been pretty expensive. But hey, atleast they made it work right? We've been making a few improvements since it's opening two months ago, mainly a better air conditioning system, as alot of workers complained about how hot and heavy the Springlock suits get when there isn't much air to garner. Surprised they're even committed to working in those kind of conditions, but hey, Mr. A said he'd get the money, and he did! If momma's told me anything back home, it's that with enough time and effort, something can become more. I'd be remissed if I didn't say said something was becoming more, right before my eyes. P.S. I also like how after the construction, they gave us job opportunities to work here once it opened. - Oliver Chafter 07/23/1980 Show Rumours? --------------------------- This might be my first few days working at Fredbear's but, I've got to say, this is some amazing work! The improvements on the diner even, they are small yet somehow make a big difference, the biggest thing being that air system. A lot of us complained about it when the diner first opened, but now the managers have gotten the money. I think a lot of people credit Afton for the money but, it's really Mr. Manchester since he's excellent with advertising and is the one that deals with the financing.. at least to my knowledge. Something that's got me really excited is that the boys are talking about a cartoon show being made for Fredbears, and they need voice actors soon, especially for a certain female chicken. Guess I've got to get my big girl pants on and do some practice! - Abigail Willhelm 08/01/1980 Maintenance Report ---------------------------------- Working on the animatronics can be tiring but I must admit that Mr. A put a lot of effort into the development of these robots. He made sure that they could be easily serviced and maintained, the springlocks are a bit of a hassle because of the additional gears and springlocks that hold back the robot's endoskeleton for someone to wear it. I am a little worried about how tightly the springlocks are set. If they snap shut while cleaning the suit someone could lose a finger! Other than that nothing bad has been happening, the improvements that were made to the restaurant made it a much better place to work in. I've been hearing about a new cartoon show taking place and how voice actors were being called, I wish them the best! - Mark Clifton 06/27/1980 Strange Costume ---------------------------- So, I don't know if anyone has talked about the weird suit that we have lying in the P&S room. I mean, I was already aware of it but, I've never really asked about it despite being here for about three months now. It looks like a weird version of Fredbear, except it's got black attire rather than purple, and the strangest thing about it, is that its eyes are black. Not like it doesn't have eyes but, its eyes are just painted in a black color. If anyone wants to get back to me on this, I'll leave this in the "Questions" box for the Employee notes. - Oliver Chafter / Response from William Afton: Hello Oliver. If you were curious about the suit, you could've asked me about it. To put it simply, that animatronic is the prototype for the Springlock animatronics. I myself, and Henry created it back in 1979, as a test for the concept itself. It was successful, but after the final designs were made, we simply didn't have a usage for it, so we left it in the backroom as a spare in case any of the animatronics were to malfunction. Also, the black eyes were an aesthetic choice, it felt like it was replicating the simple dot eyes a cartoon character would have. I'm not saying that you will, but I'm not saying you won't either, but I suggest you don't mess with it, as it's not as stable as the newer designs. It tends to lock up more than the new ones. 10/10/1980 Cleaning Report and Status --------------------- I've just about finished moppin' the floors, I keep telling everyone to wipe their damn feet on the carpet but no one would open their ears to listen! I had to clean up their mess every five freakin' minutes! And also, two light bulbs went out, they are those cheap garbage ones, I put in a pair of decent ones that can last up to a year max. But I didn't voice my complaints to Mr. A, the man has a business to keep up after all..though I'm worried for Mark. I read about the murder of John Lennon yesterday in the papers and it shocked me a little. Some nutcase shot him when he was returning to his Dakota apartment and Mark is a big Beatles fan. I'll see if I could talk to him when I get the chance or at least tell Mr. A to give him a two-day break so the kid can rest his head. Believe me, I may be a hothead but if my idols such as Leon Russell, Stevie Wonder, Little Richard, or Frank Sinatra have ended up like that I would be in Mark's situation. - Geoffrey Brown 12/25/1980 Christmas ----------------- What an amazing year... I didn't think Fredbear's would ever get this far! I mean, we've animatronics that have revolutionized the future, a TV show with actually decent humor and style, and everything else with this place has just been phenomenal! The Christmas show they put on at Fredbear's was also good, I even got to wander around as Bonbunny for a little bit alongside Gavin and his Fredbear suit! Christmas was just as good as usual, and I'm hoping that the next years for Fredbear will be their best yet! - Oliver Chafter 12/31/1980 HAPPY NEW YEAR --------------------------- I know that there are just a few minutes before the official new year comes but I am writing this log to congratulate everyone on their hard work, showmanship, and total support for the business! Thanks to you all, we grew out as a business and gained many customers and positive reviews, but I must really thank every single one of you for making this happen. You all can either go home to celebrate with your families or come down to the restaurant for a celebration and bring your family with you! Happy New Year! -Henry Manchester. 10/17/1983 -------- my bones, they are broken yet I'm still alive, inside of this thing what is this? Fun fact: The first progress report is on my birthday 🎉
im glad bonbunny isnt just "spring bonnie" cause, why would fredbear have a unique name when spring bonnie doesnt >:/ it is a neat addition!
yea and also who the fuck names an animatronic after it's function
seems stupid
also holy shit I've seen your models before and wow they are actually pretty good
nice job keep up the good work
@@SpringMiles i mean the name could have a double meaning, spring bonnie could be a spring/easter themed animatronic
@@atticted Then I think the design should somehow reflect on that
I guess they named him Springbonnie because of the spring season, or maybe because how bunnies spring when they jump
I like the editing here. You really know how to do a VHS-style video!
I love how all the FNaF VHS stuff You done that You would keep both Hurricane Fun and also refuse to change Henry's last name to Emily lol
I mean your not wrong
Hurricane Fun is an original name and also Emily is just a weird last name for a dude named Henry
