There's nothing better than when flower farmers help each other out! What an interesting way to make a bridal bouquet, never thought to use chicken wire. Would love to see it from start to finish! Beautiful!

I loved this laid back presentation! The wind and the chickens were the icing on the cake.

Congratulations on your Dahlias! Our did have a lot of blooms this year (perhaps not enough heat in the bed they were planted). Still trying them again next year 😊

From a few dahlias to many. That’s good. All was not lost. At some point Chantelle will be in need and you can come to the rescue. You’ve made a new friend. That’s a good thing. Nice to see a relaxed video.,,,with a bridal bouquet, no less. It’s much less stressful when it’s a practice bouquet for the photo gallery. Nice, Kristen. May you have better luck with your dahlia tubers this year. 💕

I dug one out that was a seedling I didn’t like, and there were very good tubers under there. Hopefully that bodes well for the rest!

I learned something terribly important in your video about pinching the top off of glads! What a fabulous way of making them last longer because they are not putting their energy into making the top keep flowering! The bride bouquet is beautiful! I sure hope you have better luck with storing your dahlias this winter. I am going to see if I can overwinter my dahlias as well. Cheers!

Thank you so much! Thankfully I’m feeling a lot better this fall, so I should be able to get them downstairs!

Speaking plainly: I absolutely suck at flower arranging.
