As if that wasn't wild enough, the event organizers decided to include a water gap. What's even crazier is that one of the skateboarders has no legs and seems just as good as the other skaters. All of these tricks look absolutely gnarly, and the energy from the crowd is electric and unforgettable. (cred @koffinvauhtikisat)

There was also guy that snapped both his femur bones. Wasn't even participant but somehow got in from spectators and tried to jump that. Quite hard to watch someone bend his both legs 90 degrees from middle of quad 😅

I actually think that skating with no legs might be easier. I’m not saying his life is better in any way or I want that. I’m just saying this might be the one place where he has an advantage. Much lower center of gravity that is DIRECTLY on the skateboard. And when he’s in the air he’s going to be able to grab it with his hands and manipulate it more easily than someone who was riding on their feet would. He just has more control.
