Great sound deadening on that door. I don't know many installers with such attention to detail, unless they working on their own cars. Usually if you work for a business they just want you to slap it out quick. Personally I would remove that black paper behind the grill, or glue it just to cover up the dynamat. I'm thinking it will flap a bit if its on top of a woofer and is loose. But it's really not a big deal, you did everything else on point. Even installing dynamat on the front skin and focal on the back, makes perfect sense to me.
Hats off to you for putting up a Daily Video. I know it's a LOT of work and I really like them when you are just doing your thing. I'm myself am a Fan for SM but just do your own thing, People will enjoy that much more. Crazy that it's Winter where you are while we sweat our Butts off here in New Orleans, USA. Looking forward to more on project "SOUNDVETTE"...
looking good so far, crossovers not on display because of space constraints. The beauty panel idea is good, just make the openings a little bigger for some LEDs?
question1, If you could build any system in your own car (money no object) what would you put? question2 Does New Zealand have sound rules(ie if your system is too loud you get a ticket)?
Looking at the video for the C5 Corvette door speakers did you run a separate amp Or did you utilise the factory Bose amp and in that case what wires should I attach to
Awesome, I would definitely bring my car to you. You do Amazing work and your attention to details is freakin awesome. Love your installs and how everything is done. You are a top notch installer. Thanks for the videos and showing the chrome rings very cool and you can see them nice touch and the crossovers if you could fit both of them on your amp rack I think it would look really good but even one would be nice too. I have a question but not related to any of your videos but have you ever been to America and if so where did you go. Thanks for being who your are I could definitely see us being friends. Later
Be yourself! Lovin the uploads. The crossovers look like punch pro? I don't think those tweeter will hold up very long on that amp. I've burned a few of the pro neo tweets with that amp but mine is just on tweeters and mids are on separate amps. If those are pro crossover I recommend going -6db. My system is 5 power series amps and pro speakers in a Dodge Dart.
why dont you use boommat it gives it a little bit more of weather protection and you should move the amps a little more apart an put both of the crossovers th the middle shout out texas
1) if you have done a Holden VF Commodore, do you think running a LOC is enough or go for a dsp such as a audiocontrol lc7i? 2) a while back unboxed a Rockford Fosgate t400x4ad, do you think it will e a good match for the focal ps165fx/pc165f? 3) love your videos mate keep them up 👌
Jason Hong i have been researching if you interested but alpine has made a custom headunit specificaly for the vf which incorperates all the features the factory on has
greets from holland, love the show and i got a question for the Q&A : how do you link two capacitor to work as one?? 1 got one 2 farad rodek cap and a cheap 1 farad cap and whant them to work as one 3 farad capacitor.
eefje sweet I would chuck them both in the trash. I'm not trying to be rude. It would be more beneficial to do the big three upgrade and make sure that you are using the right size power and ground cables to your amp. Big three by the way is upgrading power wire from alternator to the battery upgrading the ground wire from the battery to the car chassis and the ground wire or strap from the motor to the chassis.
I would be careful with making filler videos. It might turn people off. That's just my opinion. I'm not a real big fan of the Chrome ring on the tweeter. If it were my car and the speakers were not going to be on display I'd want them to blend in as much as possible.
I'M LIKING YOUR VIDEOS MORE AND MORE...JUST BEING YOURSELF MAKES THEM BETTER,THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

How did you get the door back on with your home made panel/gasket? Did you have to shave the styrofoam?

Are your 2 15's Rockfords up forsale?
yea its a shame rockford dosent make those logos that you can mount to the door panel
I was wondering why you were wearing a hoodie, because it's 86 degrees outside (30 C). Then I realized you are on the opposite hemisphere as me, haha.
The accent didnt tip you off :) hahaha
Do you have a favorite power tool brand?
What kind of speakers are in the door?
can you hear bass from space?

Corey Valentine hey buddy, yes I have seen it as well but it is like 3000 bucks for just a head unit.
yer lol that part scared me a little especially when i saw the 5000 for the unit with the dvd player haha
I'm having this problem now

is all ready done the big 3. big wire to the amp's off the battery. ist for a 1000 watt rms bass amp and a 540 watt rms 4 channel amp
its make my system a bit stable but i think 1 farad isnt enough for all the rms
eefje sweet good that you got the big three done already. But caps aren't the magic bullet that they are advertised to be. Cheap ones especially.
Love the videos keep them coming every day! From Hamilton
I'd leave the cloth, to hide the speaker
Don't the Rockford covers have the logo on them remove the nose I say but should ask the owner
