I hate to ask this as someone with a kid but where is the joy in motherhood? I’m 10 months in and I have yet to experience any joy with this child. I hate it. Any advice on how to overcome being miserable?

I would say keep being honest. Honestly it took me like 16-18 months to even feel the love everyone claimed they felt upon having a baby. Which made it harder for me to bond. You have to just find a way to mother that works for you - that’s what I had to do. I put myself first so I could enjoy the rest of motherhood a bit more - Blair
