    I love how well-mannered the gruesome looking fish is. Even my dog is greedier than that!

    Too many people have the wrong impression, that these guys are “terrifying” but they’re actually quite pleasant. Their appearance, size & apparent lack of fear when offered food, can be intimidating to some but they’re basically adorable, fascinating animals that can offer a memorable experience.
    I could watch them for hours.

    I have a new appreciation for these now, every other video I've seen has tried to make them terrifying. Seems like an awesome fish to interact with and I can see the blenny in it.

    "Oh look at that!.. he's just gone between James, my director's legs.. you're looking a bit worried there James!"
    *James looks at camera and nods*
    Best ending ever.

    I find them amazing, adorable, and down right beautiful. If I had a giant Aquarium (Ok, actually, if I owned a bay or section of the ocean.) I'd have one. Or 20. Just to watch! Such friendly guys.

    They arn't actually eels and can be quite gentle. I've cared for one at a Sea Life Center in Alaska, and she let me pet her when she came up to feed. Wonderful creatures.

    • @RoScFan

      What does that mean, not actually an eel? What exactly is an eel and what is the wolf eel? Also, are "real" eels aggressive? How does the behavior of wolf eels compare to moray eels?

    • @sams4065
      @sams4065 10 років тому +8

      Wolf eels are technically fish, related to the wolf fish or sea wolves. What defines them is fin placement. True eels have no pelvic/pectoral fins and have a ribbon of a fin in the dorsal region.
      Behaviors are mostly the same, both true eels and "eels" (meaning ones who are called eels but actually fish like the electric eel) are gentle, shy and easily frightened. None are really known to be aggressive, only known to be aggressive looking. I hope this helps!
