- How to wire up a garage door opener to your flash to pass button, this particular one is on a GSXR. You can do to any switch of course so if your bike doesn't have one you can simply buy a switch to wire to and place it on your bike.

I got a question I've done this it works pretty good but it seems to drain my battery every couple days so I could take my fairing back off but a new battery back in it
Battery in you bike or battery in the opener? Did you solder directly to the flash to pass without cutting the original wires? That's the only thing I could think that could be draining it. I haven't had the opener go dead since I posted this and never an issue with the bike battery

Well done with this man. Does the flash to pass still work as normal?
I cut the wires for it and swapped the door opener in, I never have used the flash. Hypothetically you should be able to splice them in instead with the same result. Only think don’t know is if the current from the battery would mess with the garage door opener
@@kevinsdiy8 Bike battery will definitely mess with opener battery. An easy solution would be adding a voltage regulator to replace the opener battery. This solution would cost additional 10 dollars plus few more soldering points.
