Saw the Reds when they opened for Men at Work at Billy Bobs Over Texas Jun 1983. Got to go back stage and meet them all. And 2 days earlier saw the Reds played at a venue in Dallas.
I found it interesting they covered this so faithfully to the Hooters' sound. This record came out before the Hooters released Nervous Night, so most people didn't know who the Hooters were.
When did they sound like the Clash? Before they got a contract? And as far as sounding like Hooters they were popular before Hooters. So many Hooters copied them. I love their first two cds. Far more catchy than Hooters.
