Thank you so much for doing this swimsuit series! I have learned that doctors have no idea about stomas/ostomies. I have been watching you for years so when the gynaecologist said that I will likely wake up with a stoma after my hysterectomy (for adenomyosis) + bowel resection (for endometriosis) and that it could be permanent, I was okay with that… until she told me I can’t swim with it. Swimming is the only exercise I can do with my disabilities and health issues and its one of the main reasons why I need a hysterectomy (non stop bleeding from adenomyosis). Now I know this is not true, am going ahead with my surgery with less fear after the help of the lovely ostomate community. ❤
You are so beautiful. 9:52 I like this one especially, but all the other ones as well. I liked how you said that the world didn't blow up, you wearing the leopard pink (somewhat smallish) swimwear. Also how you explained how when younger you were braver or more carefree about certain things and how you feel about swimwear matters and people's belly stares nowadays. I think you're good at exploring and explaining your feelings.
You look gorgeous in all the suits! The only thing anyone will notice is a lovely young woman. My daughter has the same color features as you. She looks great in pink as well. Have fun in the sun! Love your videos. They are so helpful. I like all the suits but my favorite is the last one!

Love that you reference Fran from the Nanny! I think the cut of the aqua top was most flattering on you. The cut of the bottoms from the last suit is awesome with the dip in the waist band. It elegates the torso, and draws attention to your flat tummy, while also supporting where it's needed.
Maggie, you look, great in the swimsuits. IMO, when your bag shows over the top it looks like a bag you would have your cell phone or cash in. So no biggie on it showing! Love your confidence! You go girl!!
Hi Maggie, I'm sure you don't remember me but we met at a CCFA Day on the Hill when you were still in high school! I've followed your blog off and on ever since that time and have had a permanent ileostomy since 2009 due to rectal cancer. You are so incredibly inspiring and speaking as an ostomate at age 57, I am in awe of your bravery and willingness to share with 1000s of people so many intimate details about your life with and without your husband. Clearly, you have developed a devoted following and now that you are an adult I find many of these more recent videos somehow even more relatable and applicable to my own life. I've also recommended your channel to others. It's all about raising awareness for something that has been shrouded in secrecy and shame for far too long. In 1984, I needed an ileostomy on a temporary basis after being diagnosed with CD in my senior year of high school. That was in the dark ages of IBD in all senses of the term. The thing that saved me at the time was the acceptance of a boyfriend. I'm just really happy that you found a guy like Zack to share your life with. You are both so lucky to have each other!

Wish this came out last month as we've already been away on holiday, not thinking packed my swimwear, got to Greece and realised I'm 2st heaver and the stoma was out there. Mine is at the high waistline and bikini was low cut 😂, got me a one piece with gathering at the sides and i was in the pool, enjoy your time at the beach. ❤
I loved the first & the last ones! They look nice on you. I usually stick with high waisted bottoms after my abdominal surgeries 😅 makes me feel more confident when it comes to wearing swimsuits 😄

But now, I'm so much bigger (thank you, Mr Steroids) and the thought of going on the beach, which is my love, brings on a panic attack. I don't have an issue showing my pouch off. it's more so the big fat wobbly thing that the pouch is stuck to that I need to keep well-hidden! Thank you for this video. You have provided me with some confidence to just go for it and you look so perfect! Please could you do a follow-up video with what to do when things go wrong, please? Okay, you have found some really cute suits. Bathing suit shopping is so difficult. Also, they do make tape for swimsuits if you want to wear them with a one piece. ❤
The top to the one with the lavender & pink bands would look really cute worn with a pair of white shorts. All the suits look great on you, though. I burn so bad in the sun, I need a long sleeved rash guard & a biker short type bottom!

Last suit is my fave. But all of them are quite attractive. My ostomy sits low, so I wear surfer board shorts with a bikini top. I grew up on the beach so I miss wearing a full bikini but the shorts make me feel more confident & comfortable. Whatever works, right? I love your channel. ❤

If I had seen you on the beach with any of the suits …. Including the bikini ….. I personally wouldn’t think much of it as far as what shows ….. I did not know anything about this ….. until I found out that my niece in the Philippines has this situation ….. but because of lack of funding and no insurance …. Things went very wrong with her surgery . Thank god she is alive and is such an amazing and brave person . I have been wanting to bring her to the States for a while now to see if something like what you have can be done . But would probably never be smooth like your stomach do to botched operations and lack of modern surgeries like here in the States . I love her very much and often watch your videos for any type of advice . Again , I am very thankful for sharing your experiences with myself and others . I have told her about your channel…. I don’t know if she tunes in or not …. But because of your videos ….. I have learned a lot more than I did before ….. Thank you for that . None of us are perfect in this world …. We all have our own type of scars and imperfections …. Some are noticeable and some aren’t ….. regardless , that should not affect relationships or feel embarrassed to be with someone with their imperfections . You are very lucky to have someone in your life that sees you only for who you are . That doesn’t judge you . My niece has someone very nice that is going to marry her …. They are just waiting for me to be able to join them for their wedding . I wouldn’t worry so much about how others see you in bathing suits or anything els that you wear . If they don’t appreciate you the way that you are …. Then they are not worth waisting your time with . You are a beautiful person….. obviously with a beautiful heart and soul also . Your true friends will see that too . I think that is all that really matters . By the way , When I’m in the States …. I live in Chester County PA . That is a super cute bathing suit, you could always have it sewn up a bit so it wasn’t cut so low and the risk of a wardrobe malfunction would be less, I can’t type lol,just a suggestion it is a beautiful suit❣️❣️❣️❣️

#2/turquoise/teal is by far the best all around. It's the most flattering on your body, and it has invisible coverage.

Totally random question, does saltwater burn your stoma. I would think it would when your bag gets ripped off by a wave!
I don't remember it burning it but I imagine if I had any open skin, it would burn that! I can't feel anything on my stoma
