Good morning from India, I thank you very much for your detailed insights, based on your views, i am able to identify, some pattern, like two consecutive weekly friday lowercloses will start the trend swing to upside, and two consecutive higher closes of fridays, starts the beginnig of trend down, can you please validate my observation with your experience. thnk you very much

USDCAD, this is what I see: Fri day 2 from Thu failed breakout high, Mon inside day = day 2 (only spikes Fri high & low), Tue day 3.
Somehow I remember day N longs/shorts count restarts on Monday. Am I confused, picky, minutia?
what’s a death candle? do you pick your pair before or after 9:30?
stacey any particular reason why you are not using the 15 minutes again? it seems its always 1hr time frame. i know you always say the time frame doesnt matter but i find it hard to digest that. and its really confusing a bit,
1H allows me to see the template and OTF's and LEVELS. Time frame is irrelevant but because I look for Three Day Setups I like the 1 H. Time frame HAS NOTHING to do with the TEMPLATE or the LEVELS.
Do you have recommendation books about the closing price ?
I am curious to think how long Stacey has had this one up his sleeve for? And are there any more?
'The importance of hindsight' - that's great, but where do you explain why closing price is a level, or in what circumstances it is support, resistant or other (oscillating)? I can see all this by looking at a chart in hindsight, but it still doesn't help to identify setups before they happen. Unless you've explained this elsewhere? It's not in the playbook either.
TR - stop and think for a moment.
1) When the week starts -IT IS BASED ON FRIDAY'S CLOSING PRICE
2) First Red Day SETUP - CLOSE IS BELOW THE OPEN
3) First GREEN DAY SETUP - CLOSE IS ABOVE THE OPEN
4) INSIDE DAY - High and low are INSIDE OF PREVIOUS DAY'S RANGE (The instrument is already in breakout, or has not broken out yet) CLOSING PRICE iS INSIDE
5) THREE DAYS OF BREAKOUT TRADERS IN THE MARKETS THE MARKET HAS CLOSED IN BREAKOUT)
6) There are several videos in library going over this IN DETAIL.
7) If you are chasing candles you still have not identified what a SETUP IS.
HIND$IGHT PAY$ when you understand WHAT SETUP YOU ARE HUNTING.
8) IT IS ALL IN THE PLAYBOOK AND IN THE VIDEO LIBRARY

If price is under previous weeks close, should I be looking for shorts rather than longs until back above prior week close?

So this method is really good at telling me how the market behaved the day before ? ... I'm still not clearly seeing how I can confidently make a teade when the right side of the chart hasn't heppened yet ... bur I guess it's just me ...
You have a lot of work to do.
So how exactly do you know what template your in if it hasn’t happened yet
You don't - you let the day setup, when you get to the screen, before the session starts - what is setup? What day is it? Which instrument has a best trade setup? Three Day or Three Session? Pump and Dump or Dump and Pump - which level are you working from?

what is lock in a level
Hi Stacey, hope you respond. Are you saying if the price is below the Closing price of the previous day on the inside it's a Dump and vice versa. When the price breaks down both the closing price and the previous day low it's a potential BUY? Or I have it all mixed up. I see variations in price movement below the closing price and previous day low. Sometimes it reverses and sometimes it's a trend continuation.
What is the day count? What template are we in? Have we broken any weekly boundaries? What time is it? What instrument is it? It isn't about whether or not it is under or over the CP.
Stacey can I ask are the hod, kod and closing price indicators available for mt5 do you know? Thanks in advance

Monday also broke LOD , in XauUsd then why is monday is not Day 1?
Because Monday broke Fridays LOD = Day 2. Wed broke Tue HOD = Day 2
What is the indicator you are using for closing please if free? I tried another one from the comments below, but its a little off when I try to align with your lines. Thanks

Sir Does the 75 pips (3 levels of rise ) from closing price of the week apply to all currency pairs? Or some pairs have more than 75. I noticed that Eurjpy, Gbpjpy moves alot Thank you for your response sir
They can move 150... 300...the Opening Range and Initial Balance are key to understanding the range for that week and weekly levels if they are broken.

I don't see you referencing "50 pips a day" like you had done for so long. Does this represent a change in terms of what you think we should be targeting?
That was before I was trading gold, oil and indexes. They move 75-150 pips a day. 50 pips day was in reference to the GBP pairs and I was trading London as I was living in Australia. I am in N America now and trade mainly NY session.
@@StaceyBurkeTrading If I understand you correctly, 50 pips was a solid reach when you were trading the GBP pairs during Asia/London, but now that you are trading more volatile instruments and focusing on the NY session, 50 pips is going to be too limiting at times. Does that sound right?
