MetroJam - CTA Orange Line Outbound Ride

On our last day in Chicago in November 2023, we hang around the Loop a bit before heading out to the south side on a CTA Orange Line train. POV with natural sound from Washington/Wabash to Halsted. We finish at the traditional alighting bus stop at Michigan & Ohio before ending with a glimpse at the Peacock Door & lobby of the Palmer House Hilton hotel.

I just realized that this type of light rail vehicle has the same folding doors like the 1951 vintage PCC trolley at Boylston Street station.

The 2200 series were great with their blinker-style doors. Non-accessible, though great relics.
