I absolutely agree with the statement “Science needs to be released from the lab into the culture.” Honestly school is too institutional nowadays. They just throw equations and scientific laws into students without giving them enough time to develop curiosity
It's a triumph of a sentence.
Or they just don’t explain what’s going on, they say “gravity is what keeps us from floating away” but they don’t explain what it really is, how it is created. In my case some of my science teachers even have told us that “I know this (chemistry) is boring but we have to do it”, “No one ever likes doing this”. They are not even passionate anymore
@@angingis5922you want your teacher to do a general relativity course or a course about quantum gravity?
That's how real science is done, it can't be always " cool" or " funny" if you don't do the maths you are not doing real physics or real science in my opinion
@@angingis5922 gravity is not created then

This video just makes me so sad. Knowing that maybe me and others like me could have contributed greatly on basis of our pure curiosity, but instead got stuck in system designed to enslave us in a 9-5 or more of time in an robotic tasking environment for leeching overlords.
It helps knowing that at least we are comparable to ants working for the colony, in some way, our robotic tasking contribution may still matter, and that suffices my indivisual level sufferings and regrets for suppressed/unacheivable dreams. somehow...
@@30pranaypawar17 felt that :(
Money became our god, true religion is dead. Passion has died the minute money became a necessity. I wholeheartedly believe art represents the value of society, and the art being made today says a lot. No one writes, sings, or draws from the heart. Art is now treated as an auction, selling inauthentic pieces of cr*p to wealthy investors. The music industry is now a plant, just about anybody could become a pop star overnight. Poets are left in the dark to grieve about the state of the world. Their voices are no longer spotlighted. I mention art, cause like art, the field of science and discovery has become just like areas of art. No groundbreaking discoveries, just more artificial life being introduced, and a gradual incline of their population taking over our society. Corporations and institutions may have robbed us of our innovative pursuits, however, we are still dreamers and thinkers at heart, that they’ll never take away from us!
“Knowledge makes a man unfit to be a slave.” - Frederick Douglass
@@SciGalSal yeah man. The eras that comeforth will be deprived of curiosity and creativity. It will only be remakes of original with slight twist, sickening the taste of society. I just hope, the way the humans use art and science as tools to incarnate their imaginations will be forever lost to abyss. For what we acheived was only through curiosity and now it itself is facing, its own doomed ending as humanity's greatest resource. U cant teach that, it emerges indivisually, within oneself. I hope there will be a point of renovation in the future where this abilities and capabilities spark up like they used to be in history. 💙
I totally agree, There are a few people who are lucky enough or rather i would say different enough than others that their curiousity cannot be beaten out of them that easily. Those are the people who become scientists in the future. Curiousity is one of the fundamental feelings of a human mind. This is what makes Humans special and unique and different from all the other species on Earth. The flame of Curiousity shall never die and it is what Will advance us further
Amazing video and concept, Thanks a lot for making this!
So glad you liked it! ❤
Kinda agreed about your opinion, and i want to point out that most people have to give up their curiosity to go to work so that they can have roof up their heads and foods in their stomach
@@vinniepeterss I don't think that's true, Why does someone have to give up this amazing emotion just to get a job? Even if they cannot become a scientist and have to do a job to earn a living wage, it's totally fine ofcourse, they can still explore a lot of avenues on their own in their free time to satisfy their curiousity, curiosity doesn't have to die out to keep a roof on someone's head or food in someone's stomach
@@astrotaha Well, i was pointing to the scientist point of the argument
@@vinniepeterss oh ok got it
Curiosity is the most precious thing some people have. I say it to myself and to them: Hold on to it and put a barrier between you and anyone who tries to bury it with ridiculous responses.
Absolutely! Curiosity is an asset.
Yeah I also have it and I am glad that I discovered it and embraced it
This is beautiful. Despite all the problems and frustration due to the weakness of my abilities compared to this passion, it is the only thing that makes me happy and makes me stay alive to achieve it.
Thank you so SO much,, I passed by this comment and you have no idea how much I needed to hear it rn. I have been discouraged by my teachers, they are trying to bury me and although the burning flames inside of me never dampened, I was feeling belittled and ridiculed. But your comment made me feel validated and encouraged!! 💞I WILL hold on to it too
This made me very happy. I said it because I suffer from extreme frustration, but we must do what makes us happy, especially if passion is the only thing that makes us happy.
The issue is, forcing people full of their disinterest rather than to follow their curiosity.
I’m a Research Technician and I drive Uber on the weekends to make extra cash.
I try to unlock curiosity in any of my riders who will listen - proselytizing the mysterious world of microbiology, particularly fungi. If even one person becomes struck with the flame of curiosity or benefits from my little fun facts, then I have been successful!
You're doing a great work champ!! Keep up ❤

Ironic how human curiosity has led to the greatest inventions yet students are being taught to suck it up and copy paste in exams.
Even worse. ChatGPT. Predictive text on devices. Technology stultifies.

dont go too hard on yourself in the process tho , Absolutely loved the video especially with my JEE coming even shed a tear .
Can you please name the source videos and movie clips you used to make this video!
I cannot describe the beauty of the feeling that I got from this video about the true passion for science and the love of science, exploring things around us, and also my role model and one of my best scientists, Carl Sagan.❤
When i was a child i was a hell lot curious about everything, i didn't had answers, but after so many year i got internet and i searched and learnt everything possible to know. now I'm working but still I'm curious about those things i don't know about. I always loved science and i will always try to learn new things. In college I wanted to become a scientist but academically i was average so there was no chance.
The thing that happened is getting trapped in society mental matrix. I have seen most people do not think things from themselves they are highly dependent on other people for answers and ones who keep asking question and do not follow the norm of doing things due to peer pressure etc are left alone which again makes then think maybe I do not need to think this much. It’s like a number of events that causes this to happen and soon after graduating we start to look for financial stability, security etc. Our priority changes completely.
The only answer I think there is to understand this and become financially independent so that we won’t get trapped more deeper in this mental matrix, we try to understand nature but soon after we’re made to fit in the society that we created to survive in a safe way.
Human curiosity is what has lead us to the modern world. It's very necessary for us to stay curious learn new stuff, think of new ideas and continuously acquire knowledge.
Absolutely! Curiosity is what propels us to make new discoveries. I hope this video added some value to your knowledge! ✨
@@PointofUncertainty Yes sir it did
Yet in the majority of the pool of kids, only a few has this curiosity you speak about it. It's not that easy to just say "be curious" and they'll become curious. It doesn't work like that. At a point in their life everybody loses this curiousity, because they might just have bigger concerns than mere curiosity.
You're right. @@alphagamer7058
But why do they lose their curiousity???
What could me the possible reasons?
A brilliant edit! I wish there were more people who cares about their curiosity in this world
Man I love this video teenagers these days study just to get good marks they don't understand the beauty they are studying this beauty of physics or science can bring tears of happiness in my face on how exquisite the science really is!!
I am always astonished to see how there are some people that don't even bother to question and accept things as they are due to fear of god or something and how some people are so out of the world curious , that they can do anything to satisfy their hunger of curiosity. OHh boi! Always amazes me😌😯

I could give anything to find my curiosity again. Since I started to lose interest in everything, life doesn't feels exciting. I envy curious people, because they are impressed by anything. I wish school didn't disgusted me from learning. I would have felt so much better rn. Please cherish your curiosity, cause it's the only way to actually appreciate life.
If someone has an advice on how to become curious again... I'm lost idk what to do
I think I'm in a similar situation where I see nothing but to earn grades in the academics as the only option, though along the way I found my path, as I think curiosity isn't limited to a particular sphere, curious are the ones who wishes to know about every single happenings around, so I started to be curious about my academic subjects, and interestingly I developed creative ways of finishing such studies and also got time for other explorable aspects. Good luck to you too 🍀
@Escapist-lo7tj Thanks for sharing your experience 🙏 I'm impressed that you succeeded in your studies by becoming curious again 😀 I think you're right. Even if I've lost my curiosity, it's not over. I'm gonna put some real interest in what I learn at school and use it as a way to be more curious. The more I ask questions to myself, the more my curiosity will be back. Thank you👌🙏(sorry if my english is bad)
@@saxryhanoni704 it's my pleasure ^_^
Yes, I think as we try to solve our daily life issues by going to the roots, our curiosity is put to use there, so that might help. And no your English isn't bad, it's mine rather. Good luck 🍀
Take a thing just keep asking any question that comes into your mind about that thing. Now the main thing is you need to find that answer on internet, just keep questioning about that thing untill you're satisfied. Do it with any simple thing like a box or a remote or a copy. Repeat this whenever you're free you'll eventually become curious about more things.
for example if i have a red box i'll ask: why is it like a cube why not circle? answer : because it is more stable in that shape, why am i only seeing the red colour , what is the colour red exactly? if light consist of all seven colour and we can only see when light is reflected back then why am i only seeing red? why are there only seven colours?,,,,
like this i'll eventually find about spectrum of electromagnetic radiation from a single box.
So, just keep asking question to yourself and find it on internet if you don't have anyone to ask to.
@Nexmindscape thanks, this is very helpful 🙏🙏 I keep your advice in mind.
This is all gods work. Praise him for this beauty. This organization. This collection of related systems. All falling under one wing. Hare Krishna

trust me it does something happened other than just puberty which do not allow our brains to ask those enthusiastic questions again
I am a 12th grader rn and when i look back i realized the beauty of science that was missing in my life I know how it feels when you got irritated when you just be given a paragraph to read and you have to memorize it without even knowing its significance luckily I have internet today to tackle all my curiosities also had great friends who never put me down for that instead help me to learn and know more.
And if you are someone like me who is not satisfied with the syllabus who want to understand the WHY behind everything then I would suggest just ask it maybe to yourself to your parents teachers or anyone or even search about it till you get the answer and till it satisfy your logical needs.
ty for making this video it had conveyed a great msg.
I am a 12 th grader too i almost lost my curiosity due to competitive exams
I took some rest and rediscovered myself my true self i started to go deeper into the subjects but one thing is that my backlogs increased 😢
Really loved it,these videos are kinda boost to my mind for being curious. This fact makes me feel blissful that among million species on earth we humans are the one capable of finding truth, science and universe mysteries and we should do it cause it is the only way we can erase every difference and problems of our society and not by social, religious, human like methods we use to solve them.
People do not give science priority even though it is the most logical, applicable and effective way to solve any problem. I request readers to flame your curiosity and also others too especially children cause they are future of humans.

The Worst Thing the Society ever did was take Curiousity out of a child's brain. Nobody to Question, Nobody to know. Nobody to Know, Nobody to Question...
We need Science more than Politics.
I like your videos a lot! Curiously, I see God's message in them. Truth as a goal as the effect of our desire for Him who is the infinite Truth. And how younger people manifest this more clearly before society spoils them. The idea that humans have a purpose, a meaning, not a random accident. And how words, colours and music give a feeling of fulfilment and enthusiasm, showing that only ideas, numbers and equations are not sufficient, that we need more than that. And how fascinating the cosmos is, the order of creation to be discovered, unfolding in so many degrees the perfections of the Absolute!

I was always curious and the society failed me at many times, at 10 i had made remote control planes and boats they were fully working, i made telescopes and generator and windmills and fixed many electronic things and always wrote E= mc² at my wrist and i was obsessed with time travel and always asked my teachers about God and astral projection and other questions and they will tell me i was crazy and school wasn't a place for such questions and my dad told me I'll become a mechanic instead of an scientist ( he was uneducated) and never understood me, but I won't brag about that i do what i wish for, the only thing we need is curiosity.
We are all have passions and curiosity but this society is killing us little by little and now as we have tiktok and shorts and other distractable things the people are getting more and more dumber. But i guess i somehow managed to let my curiosity live and it is doing wonder's to me, i have knowledge in philosophy, psychology and i try to do boxing and i go for running and i am also trying to learn how to draw/paint.
I think to be curious is the best thing, you learn many things and you live life in the true sense.

Who is the most dangerous curiosity killer? College. College kills our curiosity forever. 😢😢
Life has given us a billion year ago now we know what to do with it.
I think a lot of people don't have the privilege to be curious nowadays. People are worried about socio economic problems, not scientific ones. Who cares about science when there's food that has to be put on the table everyday. Fyi that's not my opinion, just trying to give an explanation why people don't seem "curious" these days. I'm sure they are, but they have bigger things to worry about. Especially when science isn't all that accessible, you will need a degree, maybe even a PhD to really let your curiosity flow and work.
Maybe I understood the video wrong but I do think it gives a really beautiful image and I also think it is important to let people be curious about science.
Curiosity leads to Heaven its the path to God and to become one with God.

I think there are several factors but I think as we get older we naturally just become used to things. Novelty stops being novel, and the world stops seeing so mysterious even when it truly is. Our brains sort of become caged by its own habits, and stop being able to percieve the novelty of reality. I think this is natural but can be mitigated with genuinely trying to break out of habit loops, mediating, etc.
