  • In this video I show how we finished out a portable building to make cabin. I go over cost and show the finished product of our cabin design. This cabin design is fast cheap and easy. You get a realistic budget cost for a similar project. let us know what you thought about our cabin. I think this is a perfect cabin for off grid living or for rentals.

      Would be great fun to come visit and 'pick your brain' on how your startup is going. However, I'm not sure I'd pay $1000 for the privilege. Possibly if there were a LOT of bottles opened and I brought along a LOT of guests. Keep making the great content, and I might soon consider the price a bargain. :)

      @@pbcrisp4373 it was a joke. I didn't think anyone would, the rentals will be in the 60 to 100 range we are thinking.

    Also there is no furniture yet, gotta figure what... 2K more for a bed, chairs, and all that? Will have to keep it busy to get that money back. BYW, nothing to do with that but I have been searching for 80-150 gallons fermenters since I saw your video and cannot find anything. The stainless steel ones seems to stop at about 8 gallons then jump to 300 gallons and up. I could not find plastic ones either in that range. Where did you buy yours and when you said like 100$, were they used? Happy new year! Hope your channel keeps growing this year, love your content!

      Here are a couple of things you can do. call your local wineries and see if they are selling any equipment.
      2. go to more beer and wine. they have a wide selection. we get a lot of stuff from here.

      3. option which is really good too, just buy IBC totes, they hold about 250 gallons and run from 100-400, but usually about 200-250. these are great. I wish I would have just started with these.

      @@tempecreekwine Ok thanks, will have a look. I thought about those super large ones but they have a flat bottom... I don't know how hard it would be to clean them after the fermentation is done. I was thinking of conical fermentations to make it really easy to remove the yeast and sediments, and with those there is no need to rack to an other container when you go to secondary fermentation if I understand correctly... just remove the yeast and start the secondary. Of course those would be more expensive though.

      We did a different building with showers and multiple toilets. It was easier cause of septic, and they are used by the farm.

    Is it safe to remove the horizontal support beams for the roof?

      @tempecreekwine  2 роки тому

      We added some on the top, so there is still support.
