Oh so If I rape a grown adult, I'll get a few years in jail but If I slap a child on the cheek, that's immedate life sentence. I HATE the fact that I live in a world where children are treated as the most innocent and important beings on this planet. If only I had the confidence to kill myself, just to escape this earth, I wouldn't have to hear anymore of this Pro-children Propanganda.

The reason so many pedophiles get off easy or are not even bothered with is because all those people that you idolize celebrities politicians ball players are into this kind of crap because they belong to an occult, whether you want to believe it or not, how do you think they get the money they get, the stardom that they get, they have to sell their souls and part of that is messing with children in one way or another, if you get caught messing with the child either you let go or you get very little penalties if you don't believe me, just watch predator poacher videos where normal everyday people go out there and try to bring Justice to these pedophiles and the police want nothing to do with it, well police are part of the problem because they're Freemasons a lot of them are, and they're part of the occult too! The very people who you want to make laws against this are the very people doing it!

That little boy did a phenomenal job describing the man he saw. It’s amazing how kids are so accurate when they give a description for a composite drawing, they have such sharp little minds. It wasn’t his fault his sister got picked up by a creep, but he is the reason why her killer was found and brought to justice. It was his memory that locked down what this creep looked like. I hope he at least gives himself credit for that, he is an excellent big brother.

Agreed, the composite was very similar to the perpetrator... What a clever boy he was at the time helping to catch that monster. Also seeing the siblings speaking when they're older...wow. All wonderful kids, which is testament to their parents. I hope they've all found some kind of peace.

I concur! It is so absolutely frustrating watching murder mysteries that happen in other countries (outside of the U.S.) namely Canada, European countries and Australia why don't they have death penalty life without parole for real no parole? It seems like sometimes these crimes take longer to solve than what murderers get convicted for and have to face jail time. So ridiculous so heartbreaking I would love to know the number of murders that have been committed by people who should have been in jail for life or on death row. I'm sure it would be absolutely disturbing and sickening of how many innocent victims have lost their lives because of failed judicial systems..

It was obvious in the early media appearances that Sara was the emotionally stronger of the two but how tragic that Michael was destroyed by his daughter's murder. Everyone praises Sara for her strength and achievements (rightly) but let's not forget that Michael was the one to identify Sarah. It seems that that broke something inside that he could never recover from and that is heartbreaking. Rest in peace Sarah and Michael.

I agree- it’s always Sara this and Sara that, and she has worked tirelessly to change the law, and is an incredible woman. But people always seemed to focus on just her, and they seemed to forget Sarah had an equally grieving father too! What destroyed Michael was not being there for Sarah to save her from Whiting, and visualising the horrific ordeal she went through at his hands. It must have eaten him up that he wasn’t there to save her! This must be an unimaginable burden. While I can completely understand those feelings, he had no idea where Sarah was and what was happening to her, so there was absolutely nothing he could have done. The same goes for Milly Dowler’s Dad - she was being attacked and raped by Bellfield for 14 hours. I can’t imagine how Bob Dowler copes knowing that, and also not knowing where Milly was so that he could save her. It doesn’t bear thinking about. Bless them both! ❤️❤️

Different people process things differently but in general I have observed fathers to see their roles as protector, especially for their daughters. There is a great amount of guilt if their child is hurt or killed, even if there was nothing they could have done to prevent it (and Michael did not neglect to protect Sarah in any way, there was nothing he could have done). It’s like survivors guilt. Logically it does not make sense, but people feel it just the same.

a big problem with sex offenders is that even before their criminal record begins, the abuse has started. many sexual predators have done horrible things but couldn't be charged because of a lack of evidence. offenses that occurred years ago have NO physical evidence, so victims suffer in silence while the offender lives his life.

As a parent to an 11-year-old boy, hearing Sarah's mum talk leaves you in awe and sick to your stomach at the same time. In awe at the fact she 100% believed she would see her little girl, alive and well and sick because we already know the outcome and you automatically put yourself in the parent's shoes and know that there is nothing more terrifying than a child abducted.
*EDIT* I decided to show my wife this as I hadn't seen a documentary about the case as well covered before and, thankfully, this time I didn't sob, just the odd tear. It's still been on my mind today, you get such a sense of dread and a huge lump in your throat watching it... No one or family deserves what this brave and strong family had to deal with. My heart truly goes out to everyone... Heartbreaking and still as powerful today as it was some 22 years ago. This story made me hug my son even tighter!

Rapist, murderers and child molesters should be kept in prison for the rest of their lives. Everybody would agree with that simple statement, but the judges and the lawyers protecting these monsters.
I might be a little primitive (and i acknowledge that) but the very people dealing with these kind of crimes should be made responsible for the outcomes.
A person who kills another human being in cold blood is not to be "fixed". A person who rapes is not to be put back into society after a few years in prison and a child molester should be put away for good.
It seems that, all over the world (not only in the UK), these crimes are not considered as grave as they are and dangerous criminals are released on a regular basis.
The tragic case of Sarah is just one of the many cases that keep happening simply because the laws are not good enough to protect society.
We either get serious about these kind of crimes or we are going to see, time and time again, these monstrosities happening.

This was when Sarah was missing. I went into labour a few weeks later, at midnight 21/8/00. We lived a fair distance from the hospital. By then little Sarah had been found and in the middle of that dark, quiet night we drove past a spot where lots of flowers had been laid in her memory. The fact that I was in labour and on my way to give birth was not lost on me at the time or now. 😔

I can't carry and misscarry by 12 weeks, so we don't tell people I'm pregnant as we don't see the point as id just have to tell them I'd lost the baby afterward. I'd been threatening misscarrige from 6 weeks so we didn't tell anyone about it. Same with our second infact when she was born at 26 weeks my partner called to tell people I was pregnant and that she was born in the same call. He did the same with my son as only 8 people knew i was pregnant he was also premature he was due in January but came in November, so people usually found out i was pregnant the day they were born 🤣🤣 I truly hope you and your family are happy and well and that your son is doing well 😊

This case highlights so many things wrong in the criminal system both in the UK and the US:
    1) Rapists/Sex Offenders and child molesters get little to no time in jail, are set free after or before their terms are up and go on to commit the same crimes again or escalate like this POS did.
    2) Many prison psychologists tell parole boards that the person will re-offend (like in this case where he did EXACTLY what they said he would) and they don't give credence to it. Which brings me to...
    3) When they go on to re-offended, courts don't want to taint the jury's opinion about the criminal by bringing up previous convictions. Why the blazes not?! It shows that there is an established pattern of behavior that is ESCALATING and that the offender is NOT rehabilitated nor that a previous prison term/s proved a deterrent from that behavior. Likewise there should be no protection for the offender from having a jury or judge hear a prison psychologists diagnosis of them either. If a psychologist or psychiatrist to the public can break confidentiality if they think their patient poses a threat to themselves or others, why can't a convicted offender's not do so too?

Their history is to always laid bare for pedos are not rehabilitle, and are repeat are always going to repeat for they cannot contain the desire to act out their perversions. Criminal history of the person being charged is never to be hidden, that's ludicrous for it shows the pathology of behavior of the criminal. All SA offenders are to be registered on a national board that's open to the public to be aware of their known location. I sure bloody hell want to know of any pedos near my community. They lose their rights and privileges for they are the scourge of our society. Wish we could just let the inmates have their fun with the lot of them once they go to prison but we put them off on their own away from the inmate population for they do to them what they deserve like this POS.

This one was hard to watch...I can only imagine how hard it must be to put these together for us. Just watching them takes an emotional toll on me. So thank you so much for what you do. The empathy and emotion in your voice is palpable. The best channel of it's kind.

As a father, i hate that most of these stories end with the parents divorced and the father dying prematurely due to drug or alcohol abuse. That sense of helplessness and failure to protect your child is an overbearing feeling.

If the courts sentenced convicted child rapists to execution, then they wouldn't be able to do it again. But our courts want these types of people back out on the streets for some reason.

Those "people " don't deserve to walk the streets. Lock em up and end them. May seem harsh yet I believe they have something wrong with their brains and CANNOT be rehabilitated. Child pervs and rapists are just sick and their is no rehabilitation in my opinion

Probably because a lot of them are predators too and don’t want to be in prison for life or sent to death if they’re caught. Bastards.

Hi ladies. I imagine that Sara Payne would be very grateful for the dignity and the detail you've used in bringing this to us. I applaud you. Sara, if you were to ever read this....like millions of others, I am so incredibly sorry. Your daughter would be so very very proud of her mum. Godspeed. ❤

Nothing turns my stomach more than hearing stories like this but you did bring a smile to my face when you said that he is not having a good time in prison and that he's been attacked and that he is not very popular. It forces him to have to keep his head on a swivel but I have a feeling that he won't make it out alive(at least I hope). If he was attacked once, it could happen again. A guard could get paid off to look the other way and great things can happen. Let's hope that it's a brutally painful experience for him.

Just watching this now (August 2023) and Sarah's mom, Sarah, is one ADMIRABLE woman! She was so brave and strong in the face of this whole horrific tragedy. So impressed with her. I don't know if I could be that strong if I were in a similar situation. Kudos and hats off to her.

Why do they let child predators out of jail?? This is absurd.. they keep on doing this???!!!! And act all surprised when they do it again. This is ridiculous!!

Your telling me that he only got 4 years for when he assaulted that little girl in 1995 and he got off after only serving half of it!!! Not only that but he was assessed as someone who would most likely do it again and probably kill his next victim!!! What the actual hell! That so messed up, this could have been prevented! So messed up, my heart goes out to his victims and the family of his victims. The man is a monster
