That's the hard part. search youtube.. Do it very slow and don't cut the pipe or your shower pan.

I want to purchase this drain my clearance maybe to tight . How much material can I remove from the bottom if the wingtite? I measured I need almost 1 inch .

Was the pan really thick

@@GeorgeThePlumber It appears 1/8 thick. Top of my two inch pvc shoulder is a little over 1 inch from the pan.

that depends on the silicone itself. mine says 4 hours but 24hours to be sure.

What if the drain pipe doesn't come up that high?

I’m about to do a repair on my pan, if the pipe doesn’t come up just I’m going to add a coupling and little piece of pipe to extend it

my pvc doesnt go as high as that 2 inch deeper so the wingtite cant connect

Can you get a inside pipe cutter and get it lower and add a coupling to raise it up
