Piers Morgan was confronted about his obsession with Meghan Markle and he stormed off set like a huffy dandy. Piers will never have my respect.
I hate the prick too but riddle me this... Why has Morgan constantly debated this issue with the most outspoken critics of the Gaza conflict and been handed his arse 10 times now? He is well accomplished at manipulating the conversation so why is he always failing just on this one issue? Just on a seperate issue, his audience will never look beyond platforms like his for information, they are 70+. So the only place they can get a balanced view of this conflict is on his show, simply because he gets his arse handed to him each time. Surprising that someone with his media savvy so thoroughly fails to vet his guests on this issue every time. He has only been at it for 40 years.

If you watch the whole episode you'll see that he was already fuming before the panel started because Piers had a Palestinian student protestor on and he gave her grief for 15 minutes, and kept trying to cut her off. That's also why Cenk kept yelling at Piers to condemn the violent counter protestors.

I absolutely loved this episode of Piers Morgan because he FINALLY had the right ones on that day! When Cornel West called him racist I KNEW Piers would take offense (he doth protest too much!). Its because Piers coverage of this whole genocide (its not a war) has been extremely biased. We've all seen how he frames questions and has these bad faith actors on for what should be thought provoking discussions. He's a hack and when the dust settles on this situation, he will be seen as part of the problem. Piers represents that Western privileged mindset that is being so clearly threatened by the the inevitable changes in the world.

It's telling that Piers never asked Xavier ANY critical questions about his video. Piers asked him one question about whether Xavier thought it was right to sneak into the protest and do what he did, and when Xavier outlined that exaggerated rendition of events at the protest, Piers just accepted that as gospel truth, then next when on to Cornel West asking West if Biden is handling the situatiion well. SO much bias from Piers. He didn't even pretend to want to poke holes in Xavier's framing and wants to pretend he's being objective.
And Xavier's point on the defecation in buckets was sooo silly. He's never actually been to a real protest where it's clear people don't have the luxury to hop over to use public restrooms and skip back merrily to their site of protest without worry that it's going to be destroyed while they're away. He just reeks disingenuousness and privilege.
Love how Morgan was screaming, "CANCEL CULTURE!!" over being criticized. A host of one of the top national news stations in the world. Those two words together mean nothing to right wingers but a way to cancel a conversation that has them in the hot seat.
He is just using the smallest amount of words to tell the world he cannot defend what he was saying without supporting genocide.

Most interviewees are afraid of being rude to the rich and famous host, because they won't be invited back on. Just as most journalists are afraid to ask hard questions of their rich and famous guests because the guests won't come back. They care more about access than accuracy.

I wish someone brought up the point that "From the river to the seas" is apart of the Likud's (the israeli government's party) constitution or manifesto. So clearly it's not offensive to all Jewish people and clearly the phrase has multiple meanings depending on the context.
