  • The waratah 622b processing attachment can put some decent size wood through with a little manipulation.
    British Columbia Interior.
    2013 Hitachi 210 carrier, waratah 622b harvester 5250hrs
    4th season processing
    Large: 16'5 @ 13"+ buttress overhung, Medium: 20'5 @ 9"+ butt to the road. Small: 16'4 down to 4.25" top in front. . Unbunkables as brow logs.

    Great vid man. Don't see to many good operating vids on processing. And good music to go with it. I need a good job like that. Getting tired of running loader in the mill yard. Need something different

    Are you constantly keeping pressure on your knives when running the logs through or does it automatically keep pressure

      It automatically keeps pressure as it is fed through or cut. The amount of pressure is determined by the software based on input of the diameter sensor. The knives also open slightly every so many MS to prevent the log from being squeezed too tight & stalling

      @@ch1llboy basically a knife vibration setting? That what Ponsse calls it in their software anyway. You can set a vibration frequency and a diameter cuttoff
