Just learnt of the sad news. Am so sorry for her girls. May the Lord comfort you and be your helper. He never fails. It was a pleasure to have interacted with one of them at Bishop mahia-ini through the Soul Builders Ministry.
I taught at Mahia-ini & I'm sure you're the lady once mentioned to me by the girl's father. They bonded very well & he often visited her w/t presents & pay school fees. When he went to US, he brought her a lovely fruit-cake that she shared w/t other girls. Sadly, the bishop of Nairobi deflocked him & when the girl heard that he had no means of income, she began hiding from him when he came to school. That hurt him badly. During Class 8 Exams Prayer Day, the H/Teacher did an awesome job & pursuaded him to attend & he did. He saw the girl immediately after prayers & a photographer asked to take pictures of them but the girl objected saying that her mother had come w/t some friends & they were waiting for her to go & join them. The girl walked away leaving the poor man looking most depressed 😞
Ngugi you are truly a genuine listener. You did not interfere with Lilian’s narrative which make it to flow easily and has communicated an amazing testimony, taught us forgiveness and above all, has encouraged us singles and divorced mothers that we must focus on our God who does not judge us and loves us the same. Her patience and wisdom is angelic and an encourager. Sad she had rested in her our fathers home. RIP Lilian and your children are blessed forever and ever Amen.
