We have been this door for 7 years. The best doggy door in the world. It is very good in heavy wind and extream cold. In long 7 years not and single issue.thank you make this door.
Definitely not. If you've ever tried to put your cat in a bath or a carrier, you know how strong they are! We have customers with giant dogs and cats and the cats use the XL without any troubles. Couple more magnets isn't going to do the trick.
It has more to do with attitude than strength. If the dog is not afraid, should be able to. You can remove the magnets from the flap if needed, although that makes it less weather tight, which is really the selling point of the Endura.
I'm considering the small double flap door for a wall installation. I can't find any pictures of what it looks like on the outside. My main concern is if you were to get wind driven rain in the tunnel would it leak into the wall?
I’m here because I’m replacing the flap on the original version that came with our house. The bottom piece that holds the flap together is missing (long before we got here). I’m in Utah with full Sun on it for half the day & no dry rot or other problems. We love this door & so does out dogs!
Large fits most dogs to about 90-100 lbs. If you're in doubt, open a door 10" and call the dog through. You can mount it higher or lower as necessary so they don't have to crouch. Top of the flap should be a little higher than the top of the dog's back at the front shoulder.
We can, but the shipping is pretty expensive. I've had a number of people ask about it but haven't had a European order in 10 years due to shipping costs. The website should give you an accurate shipping charge.
Sounds pricey however I live in windy KS where it’s abnormal to Not have high winds of at least 50mph most often reaching more and we have bone chilling temperatures in winter and hot summers so if I think about quality, durability and my unflattering energy bills I think the cost is worth it! Also you mentioned it comes in only white, spray primer plus spray paint works wonders and of course outdoor spray polyacrylic will keep it any color of choice so I’m not worried about that :)
that's cus it made in USA, made in china way cheaper but not all strong enough to handle traffic. i replace my cheap door flap every 3 years, i think plastic shouldn't be that expensive :(
This door is simply fantastic! Thank you for explaining how superior your door is, we are very happy!
It's a great door, and we are proud to sell it!

I do not manufacture it, I'm a distributor, but I'm just as big a fan of it as you are. Thank you for the comment.
Thanks for the informative video! Been shopping around for a dog door for our future home, and this one fits the bill!
The Noise is the last concern I have. I like the multiple magnets and the thickness of the flaps.
If there were one thing that could be improved, I think this is it. If you have any other issues or questions we're happy to help. Thanks!
Wow the xl double flap is only $1600 canadian. What a deal.
Would the extra magnets stop a cat?
Definitely not. If you've ever tried to put your cat in a bath or a carrier, you know how strong they are! We have customers with giant dogs and cats and the cats use the XL without any troubles. Couple more magnets isn't going to do the trick.
Do you think a 4.5 lbs Pomeranian can open the small door?

Nice video
I’ve heard someone say it dry rots and did not last even 18 months. Someone’s real experience is enough for me.
I've sold probably 10,000 and sell many other brands. This one is my favorite and it's what my friends and family get. Never seen a dry rotted flap.

Any chance it could be made to let a 75 lb dog in and out but NOT the 12 lb cats?
I have the same concern! My guess is that the cat would have to be very motivated (and strong) to break the seal but I do have the same concern.
Thank you for informative video :) Do you deliver to Europe?
