I own both phones. The typing experience on the Find N2 is better than the Fold's. The Fold has better software but the hardware is better on the Find N2. I prefer the form factor on the Find N2 because you can use it as a small phone or a tablet.
Sold my fold 4 after barely using it for 6 months due to narrow and tall outside display, and awkwardness lugging it around. Got the N2 and love it although there are a few, minor software glitches that may require some compromises. With the Oppo, I use the outer display more frequently and the inner display only when I'm reading or viewing alot of content. With the fold 4, I found it necessary to open the phone just to do longer texts and emails. Also, IMO the Find N2 is much more pocketable than the fold in terms of size and weight. Nice to see some competition because Samsung can clearly make the Fold better if they think someone else is closing in.
Sold my fold 4 for many of the same reasons. The Size of the fold 4 is just not practical for daily use. If the fold 4 was the size of the Oppo I would've kept it
#question when q company send you a phone to review how long do u get to keep it before u have to send it back and also what happen if u don't send the device back to company
I think both phones are good I have the z fold 3 but returned it as didnt like the size of the front screen I think I would like the oppo as front screen size is wider
The point of a foldable phone is a BIGGER screen, and the one with the BIGGEST screen always WINS. I'm just waiting for Samsung to make their Foldable's outer screen NOTE size.
I'm not sure if Samsung will ever do it. I think Samsung believes that the current size of their Z Folds' outer display is the perfect size, as they intend for it to clearly be a one-handed device when folded. But I wish Samsung would release a second model in the Z Fold series; a regular Z Fold model, and then a Z Fold "ultra" model which has a much bigger screen.
Oppo is better closed and Samsung open lol... If only one of them would make one with the width of the Oppo and height of the Sammy. Personally that Sammy outter screen is just to narrow for me
The Z Fold4 wins for me due to availability. I would be interested in trying out other foldables if they ever become available in the U.S. I know some of you will say that you can import them, but the issue is that these other foldables will not work on all carriers.
I'm a huge fan for wanting a android flip phone. But these current screen folding phones aren't durable enough as these folding phones are known for crease cracking after folding and unfolding several times then suffer from black lines and cracked screens. What I really really want so badly. Is just bring back the old style flip phones we use to have that are strong and durable and can be thrown around like a brick. But what I want is a true android flip phone that looks like the old flip phones from back in the day. Put in a high end rear camera, with a touch screen for the flip phone to be able to use apps that need a touch screen. Flip phone that has full android os to be able to install all android apps with minimum 128gb memory 6gb ram. Large enough battery to last an entire heavy use day. Be build ragged to be able to be thrown around and have a rubbery feel like sonim xp3 flip phones. And be priced for around $300-400 Canadian dollar. This is the type of phone I really really want, but no one builds these. We only have either smartphones or a dumb flip phone, or flip phone with crappy Kai OS with crappy cameras. Let's bring back normal flip phones like the good ol' days, but build them with full android OS with full android support, high end cameras and touch screen with the normal keypad bottom of the phone like a regular flip phone.
Samsung vertical size fold screen is conducive to single tasking, while Oppo, like the upcoming pixel fold are horizontal, which is more conducive to true multitasking, which the original muktitasker phone, the "surface Duo" phone leads you to do. The Surface Duo phone screens, being separated, lead you easily into multitasking operation, and it opening into "tent-mode", is something neither of the others do, unless you use their tiny front screens. So the best size format WILL be the upcoming "pixel fold" and "surface Duo 3". I had the Fold3, Fold4, and Surface Duo, so speak from first hand experience, that many apps simply don't like to resize vertically in the fold3&4 screen, and worse in "split mode", so your forced to using the phone more practically by turning the Fold phone horizontally, which is still cumbersome because the crease is now horizontal, and annoying when scrolling. In contrast, The "surface Duo" phons is formatted to not have any issues, with any apps I tried, in any direction. This is why the actual screen format shape (not size) really matters, and why phones like a "pixel fold" size will simply work better with ALL apps. It is Really "stU-p1D" for Samsung to take on a tall screen with cumbersome heavy design. I will personally wait for the next Duo3 because once you get used to its superior split screen type of productivity (which is separate from Samsung fancy multi-view), you get hooked. The Oppo is close to an ideal format, but simply annoyingly toy-ish-ly small, so it slowly wears you down to not being a keeper. Bottom line, OPPO is a cute girly square phone that's sized for small kids hands, and you have added aggravation of having to install Google services and deal with the Chinese OS/UI. Do yourself a favor and wait for next generation.
I think you pretty much summed it up perfectly. I've also at one point, owned the Surface Duo 1, the Surface Duo 2, the Z Fold 3, and now currently the Z Fold 4 as my daily driver. The only two things I really didn't like about the Surface Duo devices are: 1) it has an interrupted display if you're trying to watch something in tablet mode on both screens together, because it obviously has two separate screens. And 2) you have to always open it before you could do anything on it. (I didn't really like carrying it in phone mode). I also found it awkward and kind of cumbersome to handle at times. I concur that waiting for the Pixel Fold or even the Surface Duo 3 would probably be the best idea. The only thing I could add to what you said is, the Honor Magic Vs "global edition" might be worth checking out once it's released, if it's multitasking capabilities are close to the level of Samsung.
@Yassin Zao unfortunately, in spit screen, the oppo square screen turns into two thin vertical apps. I have not verified compatibility of app to that size, so it may be fine, but tiny. The goal for a fold is to have more screen realistate. I have verified that on Samsung, apps have issues with narrow screen. Thats why landscape view works better. Your correct about these phones being too big and clumbsy, as I have noticed the Fold4 is already too heavy for resting in one hand. My Surface Duo1 is actually bigger and yet feels like a feather in comparison. So we have no ideal phone yet. You may feel oppo is ideal for you, but for me who got used to bigger screen, it is a bit toyish, especially the front screen. I do believe that the "One plus" version will be better, as may actually may get bigger. I would trust thier phone over the Google. Regardless, I'm not holding my breath because they all china models, which is unknown how much Spyware or bloatware embede in their system, so I will most likely wait for the Microsoft surface 3 to come out before I decide, and the biggest reason for patience, is that my surface Duo 1 only cost me $260 and does the job, so I sold my Fold4.
I like how thick oppo find n2 have, way better out screen display. Fold4 have way better main screen not because it's bigger its because of when watching movie you are using more of the screen and get less dark places vs oppo but oppo have better cam overall and end up with fold4 in January. Using fold4 for multitasking half of screen movie and another half for something else, splitting up screen on 3 is not for me, everything is too smal and run experience so I prefer to max have 2 task at same time. I wish phones was made and designed for 16:9 ratio but sadly not.
It's sad that other companies are making more interesting and unique designs almost crease less yet with my fold 2 and the rest of the folds their all the same. Slightly better cameras each year still no charger not even the top of the line cameras it's sad. Why? no competition for Samsung. If one plus foldable is this but with oxygen os? My fold 2 is going straight to t-mobile for trade in.. Lol
I like the Oppo Find N2’s form factor, but I would still choose the Z Fold4 for two reasons: availability and water resistance. If the competitors want to compete with Samsung, they need to make their phones available in the U.S.
@Yassin Zao I rather not import it because you are not guaranteed customer service if you don’t live within the available market and it will not work on all carriers.
Samsung's just waiting at this point they know that they have the fold on lock. All they need to do is make the outer screen wider and it's game over. Which will probably happen next year not even mentioning an integrated S pen that they can add anytime they feel if the competition ever comes close. With their new optimized chips they'll have the best battery life which I think will be key lol
@@marlincampbell8297 I can see a wider display happening next year since people are complaining about it. However, an integrated S-Pen won’t happen because it would be too small to use comfortably on the inner display.

Is the oppo find n2 good enough to watch media content such as youtube or netflix? Thanks

I'm lookin for a video like this but with the Pixel Fold. Great video! Thanks

Does the oppo find N2 work on TMobile?
Do you receive notification on aod?

something between fold 4 & find n 2 would be the best!
I would LOVE the Fold 5 to be as wide as the Oppo (or even a little wider) and tall as the Fold 4
Camera on the oppo is Amazing .

No!!! I don't want to see Toca Life while my kids are at school... I'm supposed to get a break from that during the day. 🤣
If im buying a foldable with 2 displays, I would definitely choose the one with better bigger screen ratio. The outside display is only secondary.
