Cormac Gannon - Kilkelly (Peter Jones)

I learned this song from a recording of the great Robbie O'Connell. The song is based on a series of letters sent by the author, Peter Jones', great-great-great grandfather, Bryan Hunt, to his son, Jones' great-great grandfather, John Hunt, who had emigrated from Kilkelly, County Mayo, to the United States in 1855. It is a very beautiful and very sad song.
