As a new collector, I missed membership in 2018, but I’m literally hovering over the button to become a RLC member in 2019!! After all of the 50th anniversary goodies from 2018.. I can’t wait to see what next year has in store!!

Each membership cost money, so I guess that’s the name of the game. If you want 4 memberships, great, get out your $100.00 plus tax. Then buy each model at $25.00 plus tax. Then hover over the email waiting for availability and be ready to pounce at the break of dawn when they go live. Seriously, people that collect this shit actually WANT to collect it. Not just scalpers. Ya, there may be a few. But the effort is pretty steep, and the gamble is too great to be worthwhile. Get bent. You’re just lazy. Get with the times. Collect like you want the good stuff, not just stumble on it at a flea market( like you’re probably used to.) peace out. Sourbread!

Collector since 1998 just decided to join RLC all before I felt that they never made enough models for all club member hope this changes ,just wish I could have ordered more
They will never make enough RLC cars for all members, that is how they keep demand in the market and that lets secondary market prices go up.

Hey John, luv them 510s!! GOT my membership earlier today! Kind of a funny story, what are the odds that the RLC membership would open up while I'm in the air flying out of town. When I landed did I go to baggage claim? No. Hit the washroom or coffee stand? No. I went online and got my RLC membership.
TOTALLY looking forward to that Car Culture set!!

Not a fan of this model. I wish they would have picked something else, like an original '68 car for the 50th year. I know this one is popular and it will be a hit, just not my cup of tea......LOL!

Dam $300 is a lot for a model with a production number of 3,000. I have Auto World models that were produced in smaller numbers than that.
Kyle Soler dont look at the production alone, look at the ratio. Auto world's regular car are in the thousands each model, so their limited edition runs are very low in numbers. Hot wheels mass produce millions of cars per year, so if ur talking thousands per car, its pretty low

says on the site that the membership is limited 1 per person and not more than 5 per house hold. doesn't that mean that joining multiple times under different emails would be a violation? and possible for termination with no refund...
japattaktypes I hope so , I just left a comment as well regarding if you are able to use multiple fake emails no wonder it fills up with scalpers. Now per household is different since maybe a father and son want to join that makes sense but making bogus emails to make a profit on the rlc models makes me really mad

LOL everyone ranting on about how it's impossible to join RLC cause "they sell out sooo fast." I just signed up! It's over a week since they open up registration that wasn't hard at all.

i dont like this casting... they should have gone with a sweet 16 casting, like the '67 camaro for the 50th year... Even though cars like the suggested '67 camaro would be really popular.. for some reason cars are even more popular if they're from japan, a trend i dont really understand. Yes, there are cool realistic cars like the new RX-7 and skyline, but in what way are they ''better'' than, say, the equally realistic '70 GTO Judge from 2011.. I'm starting to rant, so i'll stop now.. im just not a fan of that datsun (this one is really nicely done though, and the opening hood is a nice touch) and i would have liked to see another car XD

Hacaosuka Designs You can but you need a USA address ie a forward shipping company to ship it to you, for some reason they wont post o/seas... you can purchase other models from the collector website without being a member but the shipping charges are steep i.e. an extra $60 U.S. 😐

How long does the RLC membership last? Once you became member, that is forever or do you have to constantly each year join the RLC ?
One year.......the sign up for 2019 will be about this time next year. All of the RLC cars will be released between now and December of this year.

Too bad the club charges four times the actual shipping rates for international members. Paying scalpers turns out to be better value, if Mattel doesn't want international members, then just say so; don't price us out with idiotic shipping costs.

not a diehard fan of 510, but it will be nice for additional collection...they really have to think about other car, not keep on going on 510, it rather boring actually.....some skyline r32 or r34 could have been better for this year
