I know this is subjective, but I feel like the OST of Atelier Sophie is much better than Octopath Traveler. Maybe it's the 2016 nostalgia kicking in, or maybe it's because Atelier Sophie (quite literally) made me who I am today. Without it, I'd have never become a passionate writer. This game has a special place in my heart, and it will forever be the best game to me. No other game will ever be as close to me as Atelier Sophie, haha.
No need to say "it's better than", you could easily say "I like it more than" and not even compare it. I barely know the name of this game and I'm liking what I'm hearing.
@@manikaditha6308 Ah, see, I prefer Firis personally. But the Mysterious trilogy definitely is one of the worse trilogy among those that came in the west. Dusk Trilogy is gonna be hard to beat. IMO they had everything. Best story, best gameplay, and best protagonists.
@@NeoArashi agree, firis is my first atelier game and made me hooked into the franchise, but after tasting arland, iris, mana khemia, dusk and ryza, mysterious trilogy become pale in comparison, but i definitely love the ost the most, even more than arland which is my favorite trilogy. Honestly the only thing i dislike about the trilogy is their crafting system is somewhat hectic and confusing, relyin on catalyst and stuff, end game trait gathering is also somewhat intimidating. Thats why i prefer lydie because you can gather op trait easily. I just dont get it why i can't grasp well the crafting system in this trilogy lmao
I haven't played the dusk trilogy, but out of all the ones I did play (All the Mysterious trilogy + Ryza 1 and 2), Sophie is absolutely my favorite. The story and characters have so far resonated with me the most, and no other entry has come close to it. I don't know what it is, maybe the small town of Kirchen Bell feeling like such a lively town given how you always get new cutscenes with all the major NPCs, but Sophie will be hard to top in terms of my favorite protagonist. I guess I can't really explain why I like it so well, but it gives me the most "emotion", if that makes sense.
The kind of BGM that gets you to play on a loop and imagining ourselves travelling around the world , thanks Kyrin for making this video
This song screams ADVENTURE. The composer really pulled it off!
Never spent enough time on the world map to hear this in full. It's a wonderful song for traveling places.

Nice, thx you
プレイ中はあまり印象に残らない曲だという認識だった。曲の最初のほうくらいしか聞いてなかったから。
サントラでちゃんと聞いた後は印象が180度変わった。
とても好きな曲。
Atelier Sophie is... not great, to put it mildly, but it’s soundtrack is very good.

Sophie the goat. Love her so much and yes I agree, I loved the feeling and the atmosphere of Kirchen Bell.
