Now I know why he said it. I do enjoy it though. I love all the variations that help create a sense of ingame continuity, especially for Rorona herself. As much as I like Meruru and Totori, I think it separates Rorona from the other characters.
That was probably Atelier Totori, whose PS Vita version was banned in Australia for "high impact sexual violence". Fwiw, Totori wasn't the one who got sexualized, it was her girlfri- I mean, friend Mimi
I really don't get the sexualization of Totori. She is literally a kid in Atelier Totori (13 to 14 years). She doesn't think she is pretty, she knows her body is still from a child. I at least didn't see this sexualization in-game (maybe I am too näive), but I wonder why players sexualize her. Okay, I might be really näive. I didn't see the Mimi being sexualized. She definitely loves Totori (showed years later), but I don't think it is clear that Mimi is bi/lesbian, just a really strong platonic friendship. Atelier Ryza in other hand definitely sexualizes the main protagonist. Not in words, but clearly in design.
