All great choices but “World on her Shoulders” should be on the list. When you first hear it kick in climbing the launch site towers near the end of the intro, it gave me goose bumps. It also plays in other quests that involve perilous climbing.
If i had to compare both games I wouldn't, especially how these reviewers and critics do it. Its crazy how ppl say one is better than the other story wise. Hzd did its job in introducing a new world and hfw did its job in continuing it, even above my expectations. I dont know what the next chapter holds but i am deeply invested....
One of my fears concerning horizon 3 is the replacement of alloy by the child of varl and zo. I really do not like this hypothesis. From my point of view, we must keep aloy at the main character place
Lyrics for people like me who wants it: Am I the one to hold This crown of ash and salt? Their kindness calls to me I have to block it out My voice has grown so somber These words don't seem like mine But the iron won't subside No matter No matter what I try Am I raindrops in the flood? In this emptiness In the storm If I falter If I fall The wave inside my soul carries all I know Who can take my hand in the flood? A voice calls me forth Through darkness unknown My heart with silence burns Through solemnness and bone The edge beyond thе shore This weight of root and rot I long to reach thе other To find To find the path we lost Am I raindrops in the flood? In this emptiness In the storm If I'm broken If I'm torn The wave inside my soul carries all I know Who can take my hand in the flood?
Aloy's theme is like the Horizon version of Assassin's Creed's "Ezio's Family" - a marvel so epic that it will outlast a ton of generations of videogames
Some of the "world" themes are my absolute favorites. These Stones Unturned, No Footfalls to Follow, & Shelter from the Storm...midway through that piano melody will make you tear up!
Okay but the Slaughterspine theme has to be up there near the top as well. That is the most striking piece in this game for me P.S. That art is soo beautiful!
“Solace Beneath the Stars” deserves to be on this list. It’s such a beautiful song; arguably one of the best imo. There’s nothing better than exploring the Forbidden West and that song starts playing. Pure perfection😍🥹
Haven't a chance to play the game. but I really love the soundtracks! My top 5: Aloy's Theme, In the Flood, In the Flood (Lovisa's version), The Trail We Leave Behind and Second Chance.
Hi! You are right, there seems to be some problem with the audio. However, I don't really know what is happening. When I uploaded the video, the sound was good. It wasn't until recently that it started sounding like this u.u
Zero Dawn was better. It had a better story, better soundtrack... Forbidden West is still better in some criteria, but in my opinion, overall, Zero Dawn is a legend.
Hard to say...I played both of them, would give both a 9/10. Yes, HZD had a more impactful story, it showed us this marvelous universe for the first time and was overall a great game. But, I do not remember being as addicted to ZD as I am now to FW, the gameplay is just on another level (more challenging and in depth combat, fun mounts, better exploration, loads of new machines, etc).
@@giap9479 Agreed. HZD's story is legendary because it's more about rediscovering Aloy herself, and to unveil the thick history of old ones buried deep underneath the ruins. HFW concentrates on personal growth, it's good, but surely can't be as impactful. But as a game, the sequel is way better in gameplay and cinematics.
@@giap9479 I'm one of the weird ones it seems as I liked the gameplay of HZD better. The trees where more to my liking. And the weapons as well. I liked the bow combinations and upgrades and how you could have all arrow types in your wheel while still having other weapons. Now you had like a huge amount of bows with different arrow type combo's on them sometimes leaving you stuck with dubble arrow types for no reason. I found that annoying. I also found some new gameplay additions more tedious then fun and the amount of food ingredients really clutterd the world more. I liked the more direct simple styled smooth gameplay of the first game better. More is not always better. That being said, I still enjoyed the second game but it didn't have that magical feel of the first one where everything just clicked for me. Also the story of 2 was very very bad. The fight at the gates was pretty much a rehash of the proving as well, including an interesting character you can talk to that gets killed off right after. And Aloy just standing there watching people be murderd rather then either making a run for the direction she needs to go in the chaos, or helping the people being attacked. Her just standing there made no sense. So many pet peeves in this story compared to the first game (they also did Erend dirty in this game). I hope 3 nails what made 1 great, and removes some of the 2 clutter and hollywoodness. And allow for fewer bow options. Or even better, let us decide ourselves what arrow types to use per bow. Like hunter bow. Let us use the same hunter bow and equip arrow types instead. Unlocking more arrow type slots with upgrades. Also 3 needs to work on better character writing (Aloy's friends need to feel like her friends, not her fanclub) but to be fair 1 had some problems here as well.
Aloy's theme is on a godlike level of a masterpiece
It is great yes , but I would place it no higher than 3rd of these 5
"In the flood" is really beatiful song
bro yessirrr
To me, a game's soundtrack is half the experience.
Indeed, thats why both of the Ori games are my absolute favourite
@@gyongyimenyhart3815 the music in ori is absolutely incredible!
@@gyongyimenyhart3815 You shuold check the Darksiders Genesis music then. Its from the same composer

Absolutely!
This ⬆️
First time I heard that music I don't know why it reminded me of the movies "28 days/weeks later"
It's a theme like the song "unity" no ?
I know! I was waiting for it but it never showed up :(
Aloy's Theme still legend
Shelter in the Storm gave me serious Firefly vibes.
My Top 5: The World On Her Shoulders; The Embers In Our Wake; Guardian of the Deep; Shoulders of Giants; Entombed (music from the Faro's Tomb quest)

This soundtrack better win awards this season. God of War can get everything else, Horizon deserves music.
The world on her shoulders is my personal fav of all the music, especially in game at the beginning when your climbing the tower, its just 👌
No footfalls to follow is one of my favorites from hfw

@@top5soundtracks Thank you for these medley, I've been listening to this and Zero Dawn's one for a while now!
I love this song !!
I love all the music in this game 😍
Watching comments it seems like every single songs and music are touched our heart..
thanks for wallpaper =D
Beautiful and Incredible Soundtrack 😍😍My Game of the year thanks for this

Aloy theme 🥰 for the melody
Build to kill for the best bosses theme
Deep of the sea for the best machine

It's not gonna be a trilogy. It will be a saga. No doubt.
Maybe it will be what I hoped Assasins Creed would have been. That series just turned into shovelware after the first four games.

Que bonita es la canción In the flood y el tema de Aloy es legendario,es su tema por excelencia.

I don't want to spoil you but listen ans imagine you an enormous and dangerous machine (if you don't see a gamemovie or a vidéo)
I’ve been waiting for this video! THANK YOU
Thank you for your comment!
"Rusted Sands" is number 1 for me
Close #2 for me. My favorite is No Footfalls to Follow.
Sooooooooo goooooood 😍😍😍
Where did you get that background picture? That's the coolest picture of Aloy I've seen so far!

Ah game soundtracks, not battle music. Still a great list.
La 2 eme in the flood quel moment dans le générique l emotion quel dégage j adore.👍
A promise to uphold is the best soundtrack in the game
What armor is in the video? Looks gnarly!
klingt gut, ich warte aber noch die Jahre bis es auf pc kommt. Ich will keine Spoiler

When all of the games soundtracks beat every other game. geometry dash, you are BEATEN

"The world on her Shoulders"????? :(
I think 'Solace Beneath the Stars' and 'Rusted Sands' are above these songs.
Hello ! Where owned this Armor ?
No "No Footfalls to follow"??? :(
Oof.
Disagree big time for not putting World on Her Shoulders as #1
Man that artwork does NOT look like Aloy. Did someone swap out some random instagram model's face for her original? Gdi. Good song compilation though.
Que dices?! Es Aloy,lo que hay que leer
Zero Dawn was better. It had a better story, better soundtrack... Forbidden West is still better in some criteria, but in my opinion, overall, Zero Dawn is a legend.
HFW is a stepping stone. H3 has a chance to be absolutely legendary. Put your best foot forward, and end well.
