Hi! When shooting 4K 120fps on the Z6 III / Z8/ Z9 you use the DX crop, which is 1.5 times. 4K 120fps is not oversampled footage. AF was working very well, but with the animals in this video; they were not moving too much. I hope this helps :)
On Nikon Z8 web page it shows "Full-frame 4K UHD/120p without crop for dramatic slow motion." A friend of mine also has Z8 and advised 4K120P in DX mode only. I am confused.
In camera, you can record up to 4K 120fps. It will output files of 120fps, and you have to slow them down in post-production. It also records the audio with it, which is quite handy. Hope this helps :)
Beautiful 🎉
Thank you!
Hi thnks for sharing a sample footage. Is this footage a sub-sampled 4k from the whole sensor or 2.3x crop? How about the AF performance at 120fps?

@0:20 that deer runs and you can see interpolation?
I don't see it :)
where?
Beautiful! Does the camera have a slow motion mode or do you slow it down in post processing?
