I was born in 1952 in Port Huron and have lived here all my life. In 9 days I will turn 70 on 2-2-22. I raised 4 children here and my 8 grandchildren live here and my 2 great grandchildren live here. I am truly blessed to live in such a wonderful place as Port Huron. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Thank you Bob for giving us a chance to relive our past even if it is just for a fleeting moment.
Port Huron has its own charm, it always gives a feeling of peace, espeacally under the bridge, viewing the river and lake, I can tell you Ive never felt the presence of the Lord so strong as right there, spent many hours talking to him there, God bless beautiful Port Huron.....
Bob, do you have any pictures or other documents for the Howard Furniture building? I bought the building that sits there in 2019. It may be nice to do something to commemorate the centennial of that fire next year.
mike...arson was a big big issue here..if they wanted your land they just burned you out back then...the people who took this town were ruthless thugs...

Very enjoyable, Bob, includes my old neighborhood of Ontario and Superior Streets etc.
The Port Huron City Band held practices in the Armory Building. I remember going there with my father in the late fifties.
