I love how that two seconds of him saying his pet’s name gave so much character.
Never forget 💔
Goh-r?
stupid fun fact of the day: Barris isn´t an original character, she appear on episode II during the geonosis arena battle, there´s also a deleted scene of her dying during order 66 that´s pretty brutal, an AT-TE fires at her point blank and steps on her corpse, i think it happens in the comic version too
I was laughing at myself in the edit because I saw her in the kit fisto edit from episode 2 and was like shit. But I also couldn't remember if we see her and Luminara together in the movies, I think so though
@@OveranalyzingStarWars I think they're together when all those Jedi are in Palpatine's talking about whatever at the beginning of AotC
I actually have that comic. Quinlan Vos dies too, but he ends up surviving basically forever in Legends
I love how the doctor is the only one who can and does give Grievous shit and doesn’t get killed for it
We all have that one friend 😂
I imagine prosthetic medical droids are expensive.
I’m glad we got see a bit more of Grievous, not just cause he’s cool but because of the raw sexual tension between him and Obi-Wan. Same goes for all of his arch rivals, since he and Maul have more chemistry than Anakin and Padme. Ventress is a close third though.
I think obi wan just had sexual tension with most his enemys in the clone wars.lol
Obi-wan always comes off as horny in this show. My brother's first time watching it he immediately pointed out the interaction with Ventress and how 'close' they seemed.
I want you to know I saw this yesterday while driving and about lost it lmfao
@@OveranalyzingStarWars I'm already enough of a narcissist without being acknowledged by a youtuber my ego is now approaching critical mass
The real question is: How Kit Fisto managed to never cut one of his braids... Tentacles... Whatever those things are, while fighting with a lightsaber?
Do you think as a Padawan he had like one very specific tiny tentacle as his "Padawan braid"?
This was the first episode I watched with Grievous so it was a killer introduction to the character. I was blown away they would kill off a Jedi like this.
I kinda was too, I was like Jesus this show is dark as hell. Little did I know
@@OveranalyzingStarWars This version of Grievous fucking sucked though. He was pretty goddamn lame. I love The Clone Wars and Dave Filoni is great, but what he did to Grievous is very tough to forgive.
@@carnage0685This was one of the only decent Grievous moments in this show.
Well zhis version fits pretty well with the one in ROTS. And to behonest i think he would be kinda op portrayed in the 2003 version. He would just kill all Jedi.
I love how George made me care about all of these random Jedi from AOTC and ROTS. He took characters who didn't have voices and gave them voices that were totally right. These Jedi are honestly great characters.
One jedi that has died by B1 droids is Ima Gun Di on Ryloth. Though they may be dumb, put a full battalion and it is almost impossible to deflect every bolt.
AH CRAP LOL! At least, it was mossssstly super battle droids haha
I hope that the Overanalyzing videos become an entire genre on UA-cam but that the "He's right" from Aang is always there. Like the thought of 5 years down the line somebody wondering where that joke came from and why Aang is showing up in whatever series is being analyzed just tickles me
"I swear, I'm gonna miss this shit when it's gone" - Me when you end up finishing all the episodes
Don't worry we have like 17 years lmfao
3:00 I have always loved this scene, in this war environment they are in the clones and Nahdar immediately wanna try to blow the door or cut it open, while Fisto is level headed and figures out how to open it immediately with just a glance, that’s another aspect that shows how great of a Jedi he is
when dooku shot down grevious's ship he told him that the jedi were responsible for it hence the intense hatred for the jedi. love your videos man keep it up
Thanks man!!
Ehh, I think the Jedi fighting with his people's arch enemy was a bigger factor than that.
Fun fact: Grievous kills Nahdar with one of Commander Fil's pistols. Also while it's only happened a few times through out the history of the franchise, MagnaGaurds do in fact speak, with most of it happening in the Revenge of the Sith video game, tho they sound different than that scream.
Long I’ve waited for another Overanalyzing of the clone wars and now my time has come
A surprise, to be sure!
Fun fact, in the deeper “legends” lore Kit Fisto couldn’t blink bc he didn’t have eyelids. Now he can blink…..But why? Because IT RHYMES
Man Grievous is one of my absolute favorite Star Wars characters, and I’m realizing how much of that is purely from his design and episodes like this, that actually develop him as a character. If there’s anyone who’s begging for a spin off series, it’s him.
This episode was so much fun
The suspense is killing me, just like Nahdar.... oh wait. No seriously I already know this video will be great. Thanks for doing these.
Thanks for being here!
@@OveranalyzingStarWars To be here is quite easy, but to deliver content and improve while doing it, isn't.
One of few episodes where Grevious lives up to his reputation
Another reference: Naddar says to Grievous „don‘t make me destroy you!“
I like to imagine it was Nadar's lightsaber that Fisto grabbed at the end.
They rhyme
I believe there's a bit in the novelization of some of the early Clone Wars episodes where it's explicitly noted to be Nahdar's actually.
This is basicly a Star wars Version of home alone
I made some appearances in your live streams early on in your Star Wars journey, and I’m sorry I haven’t been around much for the recent ones. Life’s just kept me busy. But I do want to say that on behalf of your viewers, this series is absolutely awesome and it brings all of us so much joy to travel through this epic show with you. Thank you for doing what you’re doing, and we can’t wait to watch you continue. May the Force be with you!
Hell yeah I remember! Life's been busy for us all, good to see you!
Spanish dub watcher here, both versions of Fisto sound awesome, near identical, but Nahdar sounds way better on spanish imo, he has a deeper voice that fits better with his angsty attitude, also Nahdar means swinning in english (nadar), which is a nice reference to his design
A mon cala named swim in spanosb is actually funny.
Always loved this episode, if nothing else for the Fisto Greivous fight at the end. Also never noticed the 2nd and 3rd statues of grevious had progessively more enchancements, just thought it was armor. Well done OSW!
Thanks John!
Hi i am today years old when I realised Nadar, an octopus, speaks in a Japanese accent
15:02 this is the rawest moment of season 1, just so fucking cool, also that saber Fisto stole from grievous was Nahdar’s 🥺
JUSTICE!
In addition to the magnaguard cape thing…and while I could be completely wrong about this…the entire magnaguard line was commissioned by Grievous, and if that’s not true, I still find it awesome that magnaguards are GODDAMN *IG* UNITS…they’re IG-100’s
Let's go another episode. So nice to relive this show.Keep it up man😀😁
WOO!!
0:17 HAD ME LAUGHING SO HARD!!!
Luminara was the head of the 41st Elite Corps which is in the 3rd sector army. The 3rd were located in the core and was apart of the GAR reserve. To answer your question: the 41st were only in the outer rim at the moment.
On another note, Fil, the Commander, was likely apart of Alpha 17's Commander training, which gave clone officers heightened ARC trooper training. Others who were in the the program were; Rex, Cody, Ponds, Bacara, Bly, Appo and more.
You guys should be the ones overanalyzing this show lmfao
@@OveranalyzingStarWars lol
Kit Fisto is honestly one of my top 10 Jedi of all time, and Nahdar honestly always gave me Anakin vibes
For sure! Kit fisto is almost Star Wars Iroh
God General Grievous is my favorite Character they could Honestly give him a show.
Thanks for entertaining series to watch
Your videos are always high quality and funny af, and it’s awesome to see you grow
Thanks Jedi! Always good to see you
I love this series so much! Got lucky and saw this video today and can now say that i have seen every video so far
Thanks Viktor! Glad to have ya aboard
Best part of my week is these videos

I already had to chuckle in the first minute. Take the like man, you earned it.

Just barely got here for the premiere of another great vid. And I'm looking forward to the clone wars movie
Ahhh me too lol. I'm gonna change it up because it's probably gonna hit the 1 hr mark so it'll be a vibe. I'll probably get #15 out while finishing up the movie then pop it up as #2.5 lmfao. Better late than never
@@OveranalyzingStarWars man you exploded so fast I'm not surprised that it isn't at 1k and this way more people get to see it
I was born of May 4th, and as such on my VHS, my family had Star Wars Episode 4, 5, 6 and on DVD we had Episode 1, 2, 3. I watched them obsessively (And ironically gained an american accent from it _despite_ being Scottish). I've been in many fandoms, but Star Wars has always appealed to me the most, and while I've watched every possible watchable star wars media out there, it's ALWAYS cool to see how other people view the series.
Your jokes are funny, you notice small things in the background that I didn't notice when I watched it, and before I knew it I was listening through all 14 episodes of OTCW!
Sincerely, I hope you continue to make this show(?)/Series(?) 'cause it makes for great background noise and _in general_ entertainment!
Thanks for that awesome comment, these make it way more fun! See you next time!
Made me laugh with the boost joke lol!
I'm glad that didn't go un noticed lmfaoo
Whooo!! Cant wait! And congratulations at almost 2k subs

FATHER!
Yo what the actual heck I was literally thinking about this episode and how much it actually scared the crap out of me as a little kid and next thing I know this pops up in my recommended
UA-cam is a pathway to many abilities
This used to be my favorite episode as a kid :) Fisto rules!!
Agreed!
When Grievous Says he submitted to the changes he didnt actually he was programmed by Dooku, Poggle and the banking clan to think that
Even in cannon? That's brutal af lol
@@OveranalyzingStarWars He was also specifically programmed to be able to fight with four arms, as his people only have two.
@@OveranalyzingStarWars yes
"Give me [GUNRAY] one more time!"
Okay, fine, you get the sub.
Moral of the story home invasion is a bad
As someone who DID watch this as a kid I was fucking terrified of this episode😂
I remember it being WAY scarier and I watched like with my hands in front of my eyes, through the gaps in my fingers😂
In my defence I was like 9 😂
We all agree we feel bad for gore.
just imagine the clone wars with cursing
After I overanalyze it, I'm gonna dub it to be an entire 7 season Gangster Drama with 90% cussing. "War Star" a story.
Aye green my favorite color too
The first time we se the doctor droid, his secend hands just disappears
10:02 every time I watch this I notice how the screen freezes for like 0.353616 seconds and it still makes me so mad I don’t know why
Ngl I thought that was actually my screw up but nope 😂😂😂
It is very likely that the Outer Rim Command shifts leaders after a certain time.
Astromech sounds and putting something they definitely didn’t say as subtitles is always a win.
Even with the force and his different vision due to his eyes I don’t see how he found that damn button.
Canon Grievous worthy? Maybe. Legends Grievous worthy? Killing the Republic forces in his home in 5 seconds!
There are about a few dozen kills for Canon Grievous most of which are Padawan’s or young Knights. Legends Grievous has about over 120 Kills most experienced fighters.
The Clone Wars Grievous spiderwalk: Harmless. Battlefront 2 Grievous Spiderwalk:Terror!
Good thing they sent out droids later…just literally at the final year of the War!
"Please experience all my home has to offer." Every Bond and Austin Powers villain vibes intensifying!
Grievous gave Gor enhancements as well. The backpack he has has cybernetic arms(best seen in LEGO The Clone Wars).
When I saw this as a like…7 year old a few years after it originally came out I was like: OH COME ON DON’T CUT OFF WHEN IT’S GETTING INTERESTING!
You can hear how Gor breaks the Clone’s back by slapping him on the ground.
I think both Generations of the Clone Wars are in the right. Characters like Darth Thanaton held on traditions and history so much that at the end a Slave from ancient Sith background whipped the floor with him with one of the oldest and most powerful Force Techniques in SW History. But I also think that the Sith Temple under the Jedi Temple and Palps using it to blind the Jedi also had an effect on Nadar’s believes.
As far as I remember Gor was a pet he had before his “Enhancements”. So the loss run DEEP!
No Grievous doesn’t sleep. Just like Vader and Lord Starkiller his body doesn’t allow it. He probably has something similar to Vader’s Meditation Room in order to not lose(something that’s left of) his sanity.
Grievous’ promise to Fisto killing all the Jedi is the ultimate Qymaen jai Sheelal line. He grew up a warrior demigod and killed with 8 or something. Regardless of how old or young Kallee can get(they can get pretty old) this is Slitheen levels of insane child killing something.
I think Fisto tries to always smile because of his inner optimism and him knowing that grieving(ha) Nader and the Clones now only costs him precious time to get out alive. Also Kit is definitely on something. No sane person can stay that optimistic after losing someone that was something like a son to you.
Both are right. Grievous’ Arrogance at being able to kill Obi-Wan while he was dangling on the edge of the landing platform was ultimately what gave Kenobi the opportunity to shoot him down. And the Force actually had part in that battle as Grievous was way too dangerous for non force user to stay alive.
Kriffing told you Legends Grievous is stronger.
Also the angle Grievous told the News to Dooku remind me of Shao Kahn for no reason whatsoever except that both are tall extremely dangerous and have the widest shoulders in all realms.
Jamaican Stoner got me 😅😅😅
Lmaoo
His tendrils do look like dreadlocks.
chad.
Wait… R6??? Are they 3x smarter than R2?? I’m surprised the Droid wasn’t a military tactician
Fun fact this episode was directed by a Japanese anime Director Atsushi Takeuchi
Nice!
Now I haven't Played the Skywalker Saga Adaptation of Episode 3's Grievous Fight yet.
But I legit think the LEGO Star Wars 3 Adaptation of this Episode is The BEST Grevious Fight,
Me either!
@@OveranalyzingStarWars It’s on par with the complete saga Grevious fight, though the level, while movie accurate, is very short.
I absolutly hate Grievous' canon backstory. The legends story is so much better in every single way.
The legends backstory also has a lot more emotion and parallels to Vader. While the canon story makes him look like a petty asshole.
As a kid I always thought that Grievous was lying to the doctor when he told him that he chose those improvements. Like, Grievous was trying to gaslight himself, as a way to cope.
Is he gonna do the entire gonna series all 7 seasons?
You better believe it
0:40 , why does everyone say their species have green skin? I get it theres some with green but most of the time its yellow.
If you are going to miss it then maybe make a series about the bad batch as well
That's the plan baby! Then rebels too, mayyyyyyybe all the shows but idk lol
@@OveranalyzingStarWars that would be awsome hahah
