You really really are blessed to fine this Beautiful 1957 Chevy two door hardtop turquoise ,my favorite color, nice hubcaps , and you are one blessed man ,God bless you sir.❤🎉
Nice find. I owned a 57 convertable 30 years ago in England. Nice to see there is pilerless still sitting around. Tip for you. No safety latch on tri chevy hoods. Get your self a chain dog leash to clip the hood down in case she pops on you and fold over your roof. You wouldn't be the first. And you will be crying. Good luck man. Looking from Sweden.
Come on Guys 1:45 BelAirs were available as Sport Coupes like this one, as Sport Sedans ( four doors with no B pillar) as Sedans two and four doors (with B pillars) as Nomads, all Nomads were BelAirs, all wagons could be ordered as BelAirs. Now, upper fin trim was available in only two lengths the shorty was on 150’s and 210’s and the long piece which was only on BelAirs. I’ll stop there and finish watching.
As long as you love her doesn't matter how many doors I've been looking for a car to restore for sometime if I find the right one and she gives me the Auto love feeling doesn't matter if she has 2 or 4 I'll bring her home good luck with your car hope you show pictures of her.iam sure you will do a hell of a job on her.i live in Rhode island everything you find is usually rotted right out it's a shame.
Love them 57 Chevys , I have a 57 post 150 with a 283, It came with a 3 on the tree but I put a 4 speed in ,looks to me that you got your self a winner there
That's a rare finding. In my opinion, just clean it up, install the missing moldings and use it. Change the tires to Radials (white walls) I did it with mine.
Back in 1967 I could have (If I wanted to) buy this '57 Belair (blue with white top) from my few doors down neighbor who bought it originally from the dealership but he was asking way way to high of a price at $1600 (mint clean all original, ww tires and pretty optioned) then but I declined as cars then were very cheap unlike today. Instead I bought from a towing company an "abandoned" by the owner a theft recovery a 1955 super clean Chevy two door post 6 cylinder 3 speed that was missing a generator, battery and radiator for the sum of $62.00 (lien sale). I wish I had a crystal ball then when it came to cars and seeing just how awful much some of them are selling for today.
Wow best one yet I think you've been wanting that for a long time I remember you mentioned that in your other video finally got one hope you keep that one and have fun with it nice I'm still looking for a 57 Fairlane
I respect you, how you treated the owner. I know you will care for the car as it should have been. Keep up the good work of finding these forgotten barn dwellers.
That guy was wrong. 210 and 150 models had short spears the same length on rear fins. Belair had the long spears. Only 2 lengths of spears on fins. I've owned four 57 Chevys. 3 Belairs and one 210. Still have my first 57 Chevy Belair 4 Dr hardtop.
She is beautiful.you definitely have one of the best Autos of the 50s.iam so jealous best of luck thank you for your video and hard work those cars are slowly disappearing that's wen they made car's they all had a personality in my opinion.she is gorgeous.love the channel
Hi those old tri fives are real beauties to have especially the 57 convertibles general motors really knew what car would make a lot of money & sure become collectors item for every one to have yes the (55,56,57) were generals motors most pride & joy those years ago it nice to see that there is quite a lot of them on the rds again in perfect conditions compared to how it looked when one finds them there is nothing nicer then hearing a beautiful 327 or 350 small block rumble on the open rds face it who does not like the sound of V8 motor I'm real car freak I love those old tri fives, impala, nova,GTO,Chevelles etc we had a 1964 Pontiac parrisenne many years ago lovely beautiful long car same front head lights like the GTO & tail lights too it was red & white with red bench seats inside electric windows, power steering but because we had a small garage & the car was little long in length we sold it instead of leaving it out side to get stolen I'm from south Africa so cars are targets & we stayed in Athlone area that guy sure pick up a gorgeous beautiful 57 hard top Chevy will sound nicer if he fits a V8 & two stainless steel exhausts so that V8 can give off that gorgeous rumbling sound even that interior looks very neat also that impala convertible sure is a beauty that he has not a dent or rust on the body even the interior looks immaculate for such old car & SS too which is very rare to get these days hopefully the 409 is still running & looks neat, clean under the hood it will be nice if all that rubbish be sorted out around the car tidy up that big huge garage keep all his work stuff together, garden tools together away from the impala so if he decides to drive it again or sell it it easy to remove that's the only thing I don't understand why do people have these very huge big garages for cars but ends up lot of trash sitting on the cars and under the cars etc do any one know what panel van it is that covered next to the impala regards jason ?
Yup, a clean car, n I know someone that mite be interested in your Studebaker. An old friend of mine he has some Studebakers, his name is Joe Barnett from here in big Eufaula Oklahoma. Some know him as Studebaker man
Beautiful car my ex wife uncle has one it's been in storage for a long time im still trying to get it from her. Where did you find it? Love the 64 I know you said it not for sale but for the right price im sure they let it go.
Are you afraid to show us that gas tank and rear frame? I'm a believer if the floor and frame look untouched but solid. Anyone can bondo up but can't cover up what's underneath. Hope it's as good as it looks.
@@heartoftexasbarnfindsandcl5193 I would appreciate it.. looking at this one is exactly what I'm looking for. Unmolested and original. If she decides to part with it? I would bring it bring to back and keep to original specs. Too Manny people out buying them and making them into resto mods or low riders etc. My gold on gold convertible was stolen 8 years ago and never found which I bought from my gardeners mom who was the original owner. Car had power windows including vents, cruise control, A/C, vacuum trunk release, speed sensor etc. I have a 69 which is an original high optioned 61k original miles car. But not a 64 unfortunately.
Former owner: "I'm gonna cry when you leave leave with it" You: "Aw...well we love you man" Earlier in the video: "He didn't want to sell it but I talked him out of it.........MONEY TALKS"
A little frustrating to watch. I can't understand a word the owner is saying. I'm just hearing one side of a conversation and it jumps from car to car so it is confusing. Too bad. I was looking forward to watching this.
Man! Dude.....every time I see one of you car guys hand over thousands and thousands in cash I cannot help but to think that it is only a matter of time before some cop pulls you over and discovers you have all that cash and them BOOM the cash is confiscated through Civil Forfeiture to which you will only get a portion of it back after years in the courts!
Are you kidddding me, you actually asked if it had PS and PB. Looks like a BS staged set up. Not enough dust and age on these cars. Also looks like the 57 has a 350 in it from the valve covers.
Are you kidding me ? so I staged it ! I didn’t buy the car and I threw dust on it.. You’re absolutely right man it’s all fake my whole shows fake ,I don’t buy anything. Hell, that’s not even me you see. That’s some other guy I’m trying to pretend to be Lol... 😂 Jimmy you need to grow up and get a life , anymore stupid comments I’ll just block you from my channel!
