I grew up on a dairy farm in the 60s, yes drove tractors as a 8 year old and up! John Deere 4010. Worked on many farms in High School. Love your vids. Thank you😊

There’s a guy about 5 minutes from us that has his own green and yellow museum. He has at least 40 tractors of varying ages that he refurbished, and all John Deere. There’s even some yellow and orange units.
Deisel/ag mechanic/farmer i work at a Ford New Holland versatile Claas dealership in the 80's and 90's and took home lots of tractors to use on my farm over the years. The equipment I dislike the most are the ones with lots of fancy electronics that give constant problems like fendt an JD. Personaly i run older like 70's and 80's Massey and late 80's Ford tractors before the new holland name went on them. Bare bones just lights for electronics and pretty much trouble free, no computer needed to fix them.

I used to love going the local dairy farm to get milk with my mom when I was a kid. I would go in the barn with the calves and they would suck on my hand. It was pretty cool.

How many calfs have you helped birth? Lived on a really small farm as a kid saw my grandma up in that cow tying a rope to the calf wrapping it around the barn pole and pulling like crazy.

I'm guessing that the state of Texas must just be a little bit too spread out for it to be an issue. Unlike large swaths of farms in CA, where every dairy is on top of each other. lol Anyway, thanks for the response. I appreciate it.

When I was a kid I lived in DairyLand which is now called LaPalma in California. Its funny but I still love the smell of a Dairy farm.
