      Hi Tim,
I have 1 off topic question, but I don't see any other way of getting to ask it...
I have bought and am reading your book "Tools of Titans" (physically on paper). Congratulations for the book btw as it is really great.
The book is so great that I would really like to have it in my pocket all the time. The problem is it is quite big 🙂
The question is: Is there an option to retrieve an electronic version of the book based on the physical book? (Maybe based on the ISBN as it is the case with other books)
Hope I will receive an answer 😃
      Thanks

As a former monk I actually remember reading your books while I was ordained, thinking about how fascinating it was to hear someone delve into their own mind and body as much as you have. And then be able to share it with others in a book which actually helped me in some ways while I was a monastic.
Thank you for all the material you put out!

For me it was at the time the most obvious answer to a problem that I was having since someone had to know the answers (not religious), I figured the monks where the ones who would know. So I sold my stuff and left for 8 years.

Grateful for what you share and what a difference it makes. I appreciate the wisdom “One step at a time. Keep that sticky ball rolling. Don’t underestimate what you can do over time.” :) When I used to teach, I would tell my students all the time “Put one foot in front of the other and soon you’ll be walking out the door.” As a child that song from Santa Claus is Coming to Town, though it seems so simple, helped my through some trying times in my life. All we can do is keep going and rest but don’t quit. Don’t stay idle for too long. Be gracious with yourself. Life isn’t going to be perfect. It never will, but there are some rad highlights within the weaving of our lives. When there is extreme pain, feeling shards of glass in your heart, keep moving. Don’t wait for the pain to pass, just keep on, carry on. Your heart will heal and you’ll be stronger for it. Blessings.

Great interview, thank you! Was surprised at the “male bias” terminology in Mark’s language for someone who’s about healing our future through psychology, language, writing and relationship. Overwhelming use of male pronoun. "He", "dude"' versus "individual", "person." Language designates value and visibility. Language creates culture at subconscious levels.

this made me realise how improved the Tim Ferriss Show has gotten since this episode in terms of real takeaways and nuggets for living. Great interview of Mark Mansons life and pedestal accomplishments, but an hour in I didn't need more of a Mark love in or that he rejected Steven Spielberg or that he would ONLY write for A-List celebrities - put your ego down and give some tools and life insights to the listeners. I took away Zero reasons to read your books.

In the event you read this Mark .... 2 things.
    1. Amazing idea to make therapy , life coping skills for the masses for free, preferably free, or really cheap , which is relative. Kudos for being still in that space in your head of Self development after all the notoriety and money. Making therapy , quality therapy for the Walmart employee like me, filled with creativity, turned to anxiety, who make $16.50 an hour , stocking shelves at the tender age of 56.
    2. From your blog days and form " The subtle art...." I know you were or are into Marilyn Manson. In this podcast you said , at some point you mentioned that you decided to go with your real name. So, your real last name is Manson?! Wow.
Love you long time....since 2014 to be exact.

A way to look it could be that the “packaging” of ideas and the way they’re presented are often more important than the idea itself. A great idea packaged in an indigestible and non-relatable way will have much less impact than an inferior idea that is packaged more effectively. Hope this provided some sort of insight.
