Just thinking Elwyn. Of all the solo displays you have filmed this year you would be hard pushed to pick the best. Another brilliant video. All the best. Mick.
The viper demo team still has those however this is a off-site show so it couldn’t takeoff or land. However it not performing the falcon turn is strange as it always does it and the USAF demo teams are always there best when at a international show
See I’m not a fan of viper demo team. It’s a whole lot of flying straight and lack of use of the b axis and 45 degree line. More of a capability demo. European f-16 displays are far better imho. I’ve seen viper demo team before and I wasn’t that impressed when compared to most other f-16 displays. Thoughts elwyn? Edit. The dedication pass though is great. I wish more teams did it
I saw it on Sunday and I found it to be a nice change compared to the European ones. If you see multiple F-16 displays on the same day it starts to get repetitive quite fast so I really liked the display of pure speed and capability + the dedication pass. And the announcer speaking through the manoeuvers was also a big plus which some nations were lacking this year.
That is a USAF F-16 stationed in Germany. I doubt if It is dedicated to demos or on a demo team. It is simply to show the aircraft. The US Military has strict limitations on aircraft acrobatics. If I remember correctly, the US Military is not allowed to do acrobatics over airshow crowds and limits the acrobatics over populated areas. That limits the turning within a demonstration. If I remember correctly, these regulations were put on the US Military in the aftermath of the Ramstein Air Force Base airshow accident. The Italians had a mid air collision, which killed 70 people and injured 500+ in the crowd. Even though the USAF did not cause the accident, it was found that stricter regulations on airshow performances were needed. BTW, the Germans banned all air show acrobatics in Germany and the German Air Force.
@@MarkD-pl4fu it’s the fact that the usaf displays are worse in general to the European ones. The Americans would be able to do what the Europeans can do whilst abiding to the regs. European solo teams don’t fly over crowds anyway. It’s less where the jet is from, more that the display itself is lacklustre
Another stunning display, and the video tracking as always was superb, thanks Elwyn
Many thanks Andy 👌

Thanks Mick 👍 so far this year its definitely the F-15 QA at RIAT 👌

To me the best looking trio of numbers in the sky :)
3:07 - That turn radius.
Howdy Big E! Another great video! Love the Ft Worth F16s!
Hey, thanks! 👌
Thank you Elwyn R ❤😊
Thank you 😊
With these airframes getting so old , how do they keep these antiques flying ? Are we screwed if ever in a battle ?
They ate still very capable
I wonder what kind of of great aircraft would we get if SpaceX designed one ?
Was you at the one from today to?
I was there, but not uploaded yet
@@ElwynR Nice. I live there. Like 6 minutes with a bike.
@@ElwynR I think i may have seen you.
no falcon turn , no max perf take off , no pitch to landing . missing the good old viper demos >..
Aircraft cant take off from this airfield they come from a nearby military airbase do there performance go back to the military airfield

@@Table101 Oh well, I told you why it is the way it is. Yet you go off on nonsense.
