The issue with a mobile barbershop is that you can't just pull it up to the curb somewhere and cut hair like ppl think lol 😂. I did a lot of research and I live in the state of Florida which allows you to have a mobile Barber shop / salon. The biggest problem is finding somewhere to put it, because if you're putting it in a parking lot somewhere we going to pay rent to someone or they will kick you out quickly! Don't invest the money until you know exactly where you're going to park and the clientele you're going to have.
@@neptuneclean As someone interested in this business, I assume you would be able to drive up to their home or business because most clients that are willing to pay the extra money out of the convenience is either busy to leave their home or business or lazy.
Hi Brianna I think you misunderstood what I said. Basically if you're working along you're trading time for money. If you don't work, you don't make any money. Even if it's your own business. What you have is a job that you own and your boss are your customers. What I said is that you may have a business which has the aspects of a career because it's not SCALABLE. In other words, you're not hiring other barbers to work for you and profiting from their work. A business should make you money when you're on vacation. I'm sure anyone contemplating this business has skill to cut hair.
@@businessideasacademy Thank you for explaining. I had not taken to that perspective. Do you believe associates degrees in entrepreneurship would help someone who eventually want to form their own business such as one like this?
@@BehavioristBri Hi Brianna I'm a big believer in education so yes! You can also find great courses on business and entrepreneurship on sites like LinkedIn Learning, or Udemy. If a formal education is what you're looking for, a local community college will probably be the most economical route to get started.
Actually i think there is a lot of variables you didnt put a sight on, for example marketing, if you spend more in marketing then this would be a very nice business. Along with that you need to have a very nice social media existence so you can attract clinets to try your services. But in my opinion i see that the revenue will be higher than the cost so i see that its a worthy business.
Shout out to everyone in the comments shooting for their dreams. See you at the top 💯
I am currently in the process of this. Same idea except in a enclosed trailer, Cost is way down you just need a good SUV or truck to pull it.
I'd like to see some picks when you begin putting it together
Barber trailer done yet?

So why not show up at your customer's home and cut their hair there? That's what I envisioned.

Nice job but yes I think your prices are too low. I would pay $75-$100 for a luxury haircut that comes to my home.

Great points to discuss Mahmoud! I think an active social media presence would be key to the success of this business.

Hey that's called capitalizing on disruption.
This Barber on wheel business is must like being an UBER DRIVER. Where by the end of the year you ena up with a destroyed car and dept.
