It's true that Michelle Williams has a very Gospel voice which is why most people have never liked her voice and said that she ruined most of the songs of the group Destiny's Child (DC3), I was also one of those people, but over time, I began to appreciate Michelle's voice more and more, she has a Gospel voice, soft and relaxing ... I'm glad Michelle Williams got a lot of leads in Destiny's Child, which was never the case with the other band members apart from Beyonce and Kelly ... The other members of the group, apart from Beyonce and Kelly, were relegated to the background as dancers and backing singers in the group, but Michelle was allowed to sing solo parts, to sing lead, no doubt because of comments from the audience, who were beginning to appreciate less and less the fact that Beyonce and Kelly, especially Beyonce, were so much in the spotlight ...
Omg first time hearing this! Wish they made a deluxe version of the destiny fulfilled album with the unreleased tracks. Also love how Michelle did ad libs to this song, great way to mix it up!
I still have this CD!! So many of the Destiny's Fulfilled unreleased/leftover tracks are great. My Man, 2 Step, Got's My Own, Game Over, and Why You Actin' (one of my personal favorites from this era)! I love that Michelle got the bridge and the ad-libs on this track, too.

Is there a chance you have the equally rare "Amazing Grace" from DC's first album? It's a Japanese bonus track, and from everything I've read about it, it seems to be distinct from the version in their second album. I've looked everywhere. Thank you so much!

A track that I wasn’t mad about it not making the album. It wasn’t their best, the lyrics and their vocals don’t fit the beat. Had they sang like “soldier” over it, it would’ve been better. Example, it’s like singing the theme to “Sasame Street” over the best to “In da club.”
