Gabriel Angolos, the only spacemarine capable of doing backflips in full terminator armour and do a super jump with Godsplitter must have a powerful soul!
Let's first assume that the Emperor being formed from amalgamated souls is at least partially correct. According to various sources, when a follower of one of the Chaos gods dies, their soul is absorbed into the psychic mass of their deity. Big E may not technically be a Chaos god, but He _is_ an amalgamated soul already. Wouldn't it make sense, then, that the souls of humans do literally go to the Emperor, where their psychic power is joined with His? The souls of the faithful _literally_ joining the Emperor and becoming part of Him, granting him ever growing power.
I love these fun deep dives into aspects of the lore, thank you Baldermort for another fantastic deep dive into the lore! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Hi, Baldermort! Thank you so much for another fantastic video. I was thinking, many people can record themselves reading well. Narration is a valuable skil, one that you're most skilled at, but what keeps me coming back are your creativity and undying passion for 40k. I was thinking hypothetically, I would rather watch a mediocre artist doing something they were passionate about rather than a talented artist doing something they were passionless about. It's your creativity and love for the universe that keeps me coming back again and again. You are both an extremely talented writer and narrator in my eyes but most importantly you are passionate about what you are doing. Your passion sings in videos like this. Thank you for your fascinating take on the most potent psychic race in 40k.
We shall rage against the dying of the light, we shall charge the battlements of darkness, stand at the bulwark of radiance; if we shall go down, we shall die fighting. Ave Imperator! Holy moly Baldermort, that last part had me gripped and the words just came out.
The Emperor is the most powerful mortal and immortal being to have a soul that not even the Ruinous Powers can not even their very being be tempt in taking his. We have seen that many species souls are often compared to that of fires, such as Mankind being compared to candlelight to the Eldar bonfires, but always the the Emperor is compare to a bright and roaring sun. It is true that the Eldar are more powerful individually, but it is Mankind belief to the God-Emperor that allowed them to face the Ruinous Powers and its corrupting influences.
Humanity is a candlelight, but unlike all others that we know so far, this candlelight is the only source of kindle fire that is seen to slowly, inexorably become larger, brighter
Cheers Balders, hope you had wonderful holidays and are doing well. I was overjoyed to see your return to your Mythology channel recently with the story of the 9 realms from odins perspective! Rhanks for all the hard work you and Lightbringer do for our entertainment!
Regarding the Tau, there is 1 example of a Tau both being seen and possessed by a demon of the warp and of this same Tau using phyker abilities albeit possessed. Farsight specifically has been noticed by Khorne and the water caste Tau who was possessed was noticed by the changer of ways.
A fun and brilliant episode exploring the depths of the setting and working to understand a subject heavily relied upon but not immensely understood. I applaud you sir
Wow, I had just mentioned that I hoped you would cover this, on another one of your videos. Sweet! Just finished the video, everything I wanted and more!
Basically, Do Servitors Dream of Electric Grox? Lol Thank you for your thoughtful entry, Baldermort. For what it's worth I agree with your conclusions.
Maybe the soul shapes sentience. Also, the T'au are an infant species. They were also so far as we know, unaffected by the War In Heaven, the Age of Strife, and the Horus Heresy.
Ok, I’m going to make sure to have some fun. Excellent little presentation. Your argument is solid, but I tend to see the unknown potential of krork rivalling humanity’s. Maybe not surpassing, but in its was just as potent. But only if they can get back to krorkiness.😢
random thought about Jokaero tech & species, was such a materialist approach an attempt to fight fire with fire, where the Jokaero the Old Ones' attempt to master science as the Necrontyr had done?
Not sure if my memorie is correct, but the eldar failed so badly they damned the elves from Fantasy to have the attention of Slaneesh for there similarity alone.
So, before really watching the video: surely the Primarchs have the greatest souls. If a soul is the connection to the wrap, then a Primarch, a being of Warpstuff and Matter, would have the greatest connection to the warp.
End of video: I've often thought Humans were some sort of backup plan for the Old Ones. My best reason for thinking so is, we have Blanks. As far as I'm aware only the Necrons have an equivalent, and that's a synthetic effect from specialized technology, we can produce them naturally.
Yeah, all psyker souls are for the Emperor. They either serve in life or, ahem, join his immaterial choir. It all starts with your friendly neighborhood black ship, ask your nearest inquisitorial agent today !
I don't think that the Emperor actually rushed anything (at least not unduly). Chaos has virtually no power in the material universe, and relies entirely on living beings to help it manifest. It was no threat as long as it stayed on its side. The problem was always that Chaos didn't want to stay on its side and is incredibly insidious. I think the Emperor looked at the Eldar and their fall and understood that humanity would be able to do that and so much worse (hence the prophecy of the Dark King). Humanity, if left to develop naturally, would inevitably fall victim to Chaos, either because their ignorance would allow them to become slowly corrupted, or because their knowledge of Chaos would empower it. Humanity's future was a catch 22. The only option he had left was to force a direct confrontation with Chaos. Stealing their power, creating the primarchs, and launching the Great Crusade seemed to me to be part of that plan. His webway project was not a real threat to Chaos, but a logistical requirement for him to kick off an even more violent version of Old Night without humanity crumbling, and the Imperial Truth was a stopgap. The way that he and Malcador treat the early Imperial Cult points towards no particular animus against faith, if used correctly. I think he probably always intended to become some kind of god, because it would be the only way he could actually deliver a lasting defeat. It's worth pointing out that Chaos told Horus and Lorgar (and probably others) that that was his plan, and lies are always best when they're true. Whatever plan he had probably got derailed when he saw Horus in the primarch lab (book 2, I think) and realized that he had to find the fastest route to power possible.
In "The Infinite and the Divine", Trazyn mentions (to himself) that he was once easily able to translate the language of the old ones but found he couldn't after biotransference, likely due to their text incoporating the immaterium itself into it's meaning.
Mr B and family. Sending love. Alpha Pychers can control a whole planet. Didn't the forgotten Legions have to go and fight extreme psychic slave Zenos? i think in terms of the Tau there souls have got a bit brighter as Khorne as been eyeing far sight for a while..i think im sadly no Lore Guru like you aha as for the necrons, i would assume there soul was pretty fat as when C'tan ate them they got very powerful though it could easily be through sheer number of souls rather than the quality great vid though, loved every second of it
In Storm of Iron the Iron Warriors had a tyranid bioship under their control which had been corrupted by Chaos: specifically by the warp enhanced Obliterator virus. Also, at one point (many editions ago) there were rules for combined genestealer/chaos cults. Lore wise they were predicated on a genestealer patriarch being in a disadvantaged position and resorting to a pact with chaos to gain more power. All of which suggests that while Tyranids are highly resistant to warp corruption, they are not wholly immune.
From the Devastation of Baal related novels, aswell as a few of the recent ones, I would have to say the Tyranid hivesoul is by far the strongest. It's raw focus yet ability to fractalize and compute akin to the Martian Forgemaster when fully plugged into the massive cogitator banks of that planet, is so massive it acts like a Black Hole in the warp. The shadow of it's passing renders the Sea of Souls utterly inert within a radius of one of thier fleets, and thus becoming a giant "dead zone" for all but the most potent of Psychers, like Mephiston. Yet from the Devastation of Baal, we also know that the cataclysmic shockwave of the Great Rift opening up broke through the "gravity well" of several splinter fleets, quite literally frying the synapses and neurons of even the Hive Ships, only having a few stunned Gaunts and couple of individuall command organisms planetside survive the feedback overload, although stunned and unorganized for many days.

@@Baldermort How about a close up of the lower part of your face saying, “this is Baldermort, your faithful servant “. Then cut to the lore. Anyway, have some fun mate. Toddle ooh
I love this theory! And it got me thinking a bit... maybe too hard... Do you think that maybe humanity are the Old Ones' attempt at remaking themselves? See, the Old Ones are often portrayed as frog/lizard things: but this is actually wrong. Those are the Slann, which were related in some way but different; I remember some source or other claiming that they were their first creation, but this has never really been confirmed as far as I know. They may have been a related species, or maybe evolved on the same planet alongside the Old Ones. It's old lore... and as such is a bit unclear and it's canonicity tends to be all over the place. From what I know, the Old Ones lack a description: but seeing as the majority of races they created seem to be somewhat humanlike in appearance (eldar, orks, humans and so forth... possibly the necrontyr too depending on whether you believe they were a creation of the Old Ones), I've always thought it likely that the Old Ones would have been humanlike too. God making man in his own image type of thing. So if the Old Ones created humanity specially... could the Emperor effectively be an Old One evolved out of human stock? An early iteration of the intended end result, who was to be used as a cultural shepherd for humanity in order to to get us where the Old Ones eventually wanted us to be? And the 'shamans' who created him have actually been surviving Old Ones? Or maybe a single Old One and a cabal of humans? Maybe the Emperor's plan (or rather his task given to him by his Old One creators) for humanity was to guide us towards us evolving into a re-emergent race of Old Ones? It would possibly explain why the Chaos Gods seem to have singled us out as particularly dangerous to them before the Emperor's plans were scuppered, as well as the unique way you described in which humanity seems to influence the warp compared to other races. If we evolved into Old Ones, then potentially we could simply delete the Chaos Gods out of existence with our mastery of the Warp. This may also be why the Emperor was so keen to have humanity embrace logic and science at the total expense of faith and religion - in addition to his belief that it would weaken the Chaos Gods. Maybe a rational psychic mind can control and mould the warp, whereas a superstitious mind is more likely to be enslaved by it and the beings masqueradeing as gods within it. Think of the Eldar: when they were at their height, they created and controlled their gods (who were basically just powerful psychic tools) using their ability to manipulate the warp. Now, after their fall, they worship these creations as their deities. Due to their superstition, they have become subservient to what their more scientifically minded ancestors would have viewed as basically just powerful psychic tools. A purely rational humanity, evolved to the point of being Old Ones re-incarnate, would be able to use the warp as a tool in this way as well. It would be less a magical realm of daemons and Gods, and more a giant psychic toolbox. This above would also really fit the grimdark theme that 40k has always had, of the plan of God having failed. If the Emperor's (and by extension the Old Ones') plan to evolved humanity into the Old Ones reborn depended on us being able to reject religious worship and become purely rational so as to properly develop mastery and control over the immaterium once we evolved to our full psychic potential, then the current state of humanity makes that basically impossible. Basically, the Chaos Gods foiled the Old Ones' grand plan to fix the mess the universe became after the War in Heaven by recreating themselves via humanity, and now there's probably no hope of it ever getting back on track. Anyways, I came up with this more for fun than anything. There's probably tons of holes in it, and I'm not the best at explaining ideas. But, your video got me excited about these sorts ideas, and I guess I may have made connections were there might not have been any to make.
As others have said not all souls are equal. Some burn brighter than others. Eldar on average are more powerful and brighter than humans, but are hampered by the rigorous focus they keep themselves under. Humans are on average weaker with the odd outliers equaling or surpassing the Eldar in shows of power but I would argue that that has more to do with the human cutting loose with everything while the Eldar by training, necessity etc. is still holding themselves back, even if subconsciously. A being like the Emperor or Magnus who were purpose built to be a star compared to a match or candle obviously don't really belong in the measure as they are unique among their kind. Optional wall of text: I love your work good and gentle scribe. The work of your wife, your daughter and yourself are a true pleasure. Rarely a day when I don't listen to one of your videos at least once. Which is why I find no pleasure in saying I strongly disagree with argument for humanity being the root for three of four Chaos Gods or the final option for the Old Ones. I am aware of the old 40K lore placing far too much focus on humanity being the "End all, be all". No better example than Genghis Khan being worthy of Daemon Prince status when the amount of bloodshed he had spilt could be best and quite generously described as "Monday morning". I know old 40K was also what people today would describe as meme heavy or rather as older folks have said comedic satire. I admit freely to not having read all of the BL novels, nor all the codices or White Dwarf mags of the last 30 years. So am by no means a master on the topic. But. From a logic stand point, both in-universe and real world, it does not make sense that one arguably small species out of an untold number of species would be the catalyst for not only one but three Chaos Gods to be manifested. Current population estimates of the Middle Ages was less than a billion humans. Using the premise of an Old One deliberately hampering humanities psychic potential from the get go, the numbers just don't add up. The Tau's Tau'va took the better part of 4000 years with billions to trillions of humans and other psychic capable aliens to manifest. And that was as a single focus point as opposed to relatively unfocused concepts such as violence and change. Nurgle I'd argue is similar to the Greater Good in being a singular focused concept, namely death and disease being a secondary association. Additionally the crux of the point being humanities tendency to explore... perhaps I am a pessimist but I just don't see it when observing humans in the real world. We have an entire solar system to draw resources from yet even now we are far too happy to waste time and limited resources squabbling over one planets worth. Never mind how humanity in the 40K setting actually functions which... sadly somewhere along the lines the satire became reality. We do build, typically just so we can tear something else down. We don't really clean, I give you the large amounts of chemicals and heavy metals that line multiple river systems across the world. Our inability to even engage in an honest discussion on doing better to curb our pollution just to cut down on medical problems, not even touching the "arguable" climate change issue. And all this is without tackling the issue that as was stated in an interview some years ago, what the Black Library writes isn't necessarily actually canon. For example, despite the Night Lords books by ADB being really good, Decimus doesn't exist in canon. At least not yet and probably never going to as indicated by ADB himself. To be clear, we are all just fans of the 40K setting, and I am a huge though financially destitute fan of your work. I love that you are an optimist in your perspective of humanity. I wish I could see humans with that optimism. But to quote TTS Magnus "I see a bunch of squabbling animals." Perhaps it is because I've seen too much of the ugly side of humanity. Though I would argue that I always found the human-centric, inflated sense of our own importance repulsive. We are all welcome to possessing and espousing our own opinions even when they are at odds. Why then given my love of your work and acceptance of counter views did I write this? Honestly I don't know myself. Perhaps it is a reaction to the very strong pro-human view that many in the community have. To quote another "You support the Imperium because they are human and our side." Which sadly I believe the BL writers themselves also support. In part of why I regard the BL with deepening distain the more I read the books or catch their interviews. It is also why I like many others argue you are perhaps one of the finest writers for the setting, fan fiction or not. More human focused or not. Your presentation of alien species isn't... glaringly foolish like having Harlequins slaughter their way to the Emperor to engage in diplomacy... I mean what?! Despite my strong reaction, I enjoyed the video and look forward to more of your videos. Much love. Cheers mate.
Side note: Some have suggested given our lack of contact with other life beyond Earth, perhaps in the real world we *are* the equivalent of Elves and one day, the Old Ones. Provided we don't drive ourselves to extinction first.
Another small thing that supports your conclusion here, is the circumstances surrounding the birth of the youngest "god" or greater warp entity to enter the setting. Barely a few decades old and formed in the comparatively sheltered and tranquil "psychic rockpool" that is Tau space, the goddess T'au'va emerged, not from the will of the Tau, nor even their allies alone, but seemingly strongly stemming from the introduction of a significant Human populace into the Tau Empire. Her visage described to be faceless with blue skin, but with notably human hands and other subtle features, rather than Tau. It seems telling to me, that as soon as humanity settles in a region which had previously been sheltered from and/or overlooked by the ruinous powers of the warp, they almost immediately spawn into being a new psychic power, to fill the power vacuum, aligned with the locally dominant emotions. A comparatively miniscule, but hopeful and ambitious "god", residing over the domain of mutual co-operation and ambition. "I am the communality of species. I am destiny." -T'au'va (From the Black Library novel "The Patient Hunter")
I read once about a warband of Iron Warriors who infected a tyranid hive fleet with the oblitorator virus. Is that not similar to becoming possessed in that it requires a potent soul?
Video idea, here can we get one about the loyalists thousand son's librarian that's in the current setting of 40k I think his name is isical ore he's super interesting, most of the stuff I know of him is in the Ash's of Prospero book, plz I beg you I need more lore on this guy and I'm hopping to get him popular so that GW will have to bring hin back and have an interaction with any currently live primarks. I've said the word "today" many many times and when I say it, it's spelled t-o-d-a-y. When you say it, it's spelled T-o-dDd-AaA-YYY or at least that's how it feels. Might have been a "q" in there somewhere but seeing as how i can't speak our shared language with as much weight as you do, I haven't been authorized to view those codices. One day I hope to communicate with such eloquence and gravitas but let's be honest, Baldermort's are born not made.
So the emperor is said to have made a deal with the chaos gods and people believe he used that knowledge to make the primarches? Well what if he didn’t actually deal with the chaos gods? What if it was actually the last Old One? It is entirely within the MO of the chaos gods to lie about such a thing. It’d make more sense that he had met the Old One a few times in his life and gave his plan that he wanted to make great entities with warp based natures, but not actual gods. The old one would then help in some way to collect the entities which would become souls and may have even helped refine the entities into souls.

Always fantastic to have some Baldermort video to brighten the day. Always amazing work.
Friday is the best day. I look forward to it every week 40k wise :)
These are more exceptions that prove the rule, than parts of the rule itself.
@gavinboyer4634
It shows that the race is capable of developing it, though. Potentially future developments.
It will be a very interesting development when the T'au experience their first major chaos rebellion.
A fun and brilliant episode exploring the depths of the setting and working to understand a subject heavily relied upon but not immensely understood. I applaud you sir
Ork guns do work mechanically but the mechanics doesn't know how they don't break afterthe first clip of ammo nice vid loved the insight of the races
Ork uses tech that could in theory work but should basically malfunction everytime
Except tgat orks keeps rolling critical success contnuously
Wow, I had just mentioned that I hoped you would cover this, on another one of your videos. Sweet!
Just finished the video, everything I wanted and more!
Baldermort really knows how to make my day better. Thanks Sir Baldermort! 😊
A high point of the week - a new Baldermort video, splendid!
Fantastic video Baldy! Your unique perspective and as always immaculate storytelling and well thought out reasoning are the highlight of my day 👌
Yes, we should all know. Never jump too quickly. To be the first to answer a question from
teacher. And big B is indeed a teacher
Basically, Do Servitors Dream of Electric Grox? Lol Thank you for your thoughtful entry, Baldermort. For what it's worth I agree with your conclusions.
This lore slaps, the thing about orks not fearing death blew my mind!
Maybe the soul shapes sentience.
Also, the T'au are an infant species.
They were also so far as we know, unaffected by the War In Heaven, the Age of Strife, and the Horus Heresy.
I think this is some of your best 40K lore analysis ever.
p.s. The Eldar are the racial equivalent of a burnt out gifted kid.
The last part was more poetic than I expected from you. I am in tears.
This is just what I needed after a long day at work.
Thank you Balders
Greetings, the Birb (formally Not a Panther)
Very entertaining as usual, thank you Baldermort for all of your great work
Ok, I’m going to make sure to have some fun.
Excellent little presentation. Your argument is solid, but I tend to see the unknown potential of krork rivalling humanity’s. Maybe not surpassing, but in its was just as potent. But only if they can get back to krorkiness.😢
Guessing before watching: Eldar if we stick to "baseline" races... otherwise i'd go for that one Slann from the HH
Thoroughly enjoyed this take on the soul, a masterpiece. New head canon? Yes!
Thank you for a great video, always happy when a new one drops as it means a meditation session for me :D
This is my favorite of all your lessons.
Thank you for this video Bald, it means a lot to me, especially in this trying time for my life.
random thought about Jokaero tech & species, was such a materialist approach an attempt to fight fire with fire, where the Jokaero the Old Ones' attempt to master science as the Necrontyr had done?
Not sure if my memorie is correct, but the eldar failed so badly they damned the elves from Fantasy to have the attention of Slaneesh for there similarity alone.
So, before really watching the video: surely the Primarchs have the greatest souls.
If a soul is the connection to the wrap, then a Primarch, a being of Warpstuff and Matter, would have the greatest connection to the warp.
End of video:
I've often thought Humans were some sort of backup plan for the Old Ones. My best reason for thinking so is, we have Blanks. As far as I'm aware only the Necrons have an equivalent, and that's a synthetic effect from specialized technology, we can produce them naturally.
This was amazing. Especially the end
Fabulous bill is G O D.
You have a talent for captivating peoples since the first word of each video!
Amazing job as always brother :)
Or as we shall call it the michelin guide for tasty treats for the dark denizens:)
Been binging Baldy videos all day. Can’t beat the vibe of these, gotta love it!!
Grey knight artworks are the most glorious thing in 40k, even beyond custodes
All souls are definelty not Equal.
*FOR THE EMPEROR*
Yeah, all psyker souls are for the Emperor. They either serve in life or, ahem, join his immaterial choir. It all starts with your friendly neighborhood black ship, ask your nearest inquisitorial agent today !
Go humanity!!!
Good video Baldermort
Thankyu lore master Baldermort thankyu good sir 😊
Very intriguing ideas! G8 vid keep up the good work!
😀 reading the Ahriman omnibus at the moment 👍🏼
He is well written except what I skipped about him in the webway...went totally garbage there.
Great job! A triumph
Amazing as always Mr. Mort, thank you :)
In "The Infinite and the Divine", Trazyn mentions (to himself) that he was once easily able to translate the language of the old ones but found he couldn't after biotransference, likely due to their text incoporating the immaterium itself into it's meaning.
Yey new baldemort video happy times
"No matter what you do today, DO try to make some time for FUN!, Toodaloo👋"
Mr B and family. Sending love.
Alpha Pychers can control a whole planet. Didn't the forgotten Legions have to go and fight extreme psychic slave Zenos?
I have a suggestion, it's something I would like to see. It might not gif but here it is..
I wonder if you have seen the “ Astertstes 1-5” Animation (Spelling?) As you are back en point I think I would be wonderful.
It connects to this video. Have you seen it?
I was hoping for a good video and yet again ❤️.
All the best Brother and Sisters💯❤️😈🤖🫡
Edited: You’re sound setup it crystal clear. Really great set up. I notice.
i think in terms of the Tau there souls have got a bit brighter as Khorne as been eyeing far sight for a while..i think im sadly no Lore Guru like you aha
as for the necrons, i would assume there soul was pretty fat as when C'tan ate them they got very powerful though it could easily be through sheer number of souls rather than the quality
great vid though, loved every second of it
In Storm of Iron the Iron Warriors had a tyranid bioship under their control which had been corrupted by Chaos: specifically by the warp enhanced Obliterator virus.
Does anyone know the song he uses when starts talking about the humans, the one with a gental piano
Beautiful video. Highly entertaining!
Elated you enjoyed it brother Kristiansen. :)
@@Baldermort you "deeper" more personal takes on the Lore in Macro are always thought-provoking entertaining!
excellently narrated
Love your videos! Though I think the crew of the Occurrence Border might disagree that no tyrranid has ever been possessed 🤔
23:00 Does the Patriarch of Khaine count?
Is there any Krork material?
I’d like to see a behind the scenes look at the making of Baldermort. An introduction to the man behind the skull writer. A short video of you reading some lore. Would be Awesome! 👍🏻🇦🇺🇬🇧
Erm, do you mean face reveal?
I can’t say it’s on my list to do brother. I’ve spent 5 years in the shadows. This way? It’s about the lore and stories. I’ll not say never. But I cannot see any benefit. I’m rather shy. So personal attacks might get under my skin. :(
@@Baldermort How about a close up of the lower part of your face saying, “this is Baldermort, your faithful servant “. Then cut to the lore. Seriously, I can understand your reasons for not wanting to do it though. Brother, I could not understand why anyone would want to commit any personal attacks toward someone so well versed in the 40k lore, as you. As I slowly go through your back catalogue of videos, I find myself in anticipation of your next video release and the pleasure of extending my knowledge of this wonderful universe. Anyway, have some fun mate. Toddle ooh
Caught a baldy video a minute after it’s posted? Praise big emps!
A Interaction for the Interaction God, a Comment for the Comment Throne, for the Almighty Algorithm
Optional wall of text:
I love your work good and gentle scribe.
Great video, as always, Brother Baldermort.
Here we go!
Thx you for your work brother B
much ❤❤❤❤❤
Dang I want more lore about Humans and the Old ones and their true purpose
I read once about a warband of Iron Warriors who infected a tyranid hive fleet with the oblitorator virus. Is that not similar to becoming possessed in that it requires a potent soul?
The Orks have the strongest soul, and its not even close.
Naturally, their souls are green, which means they are the best.
Excellent, as usual
Another great video Sir:)
Im gunna keep commenting until i either get told off or a video pops up😂
Thanks Baldermort
I've always thought that the Necrons were ducked by fate.
Quality presentation B :) x
Humanity: final hope of the Old Ones
An hour vid holy throne time for my bald fix :)
So the Ctan are the Necron version of Slanessh???$$$+++
So the emperor is said to have made a deal with the chaos gods and people believe he used that knowledge to make the primarches?
Well what if he didn’t actually deal with the chaos gods? What if it was actually the last Old One?
It is entirely within the MO of the chaos gods to lie about such a thing. It’d make more sense that he had met the Old One a few times in his life and gave his plan that he wanted to make great entities with warp based natures, but not actual gods. The old one would then help in some way to collect the entities which would become souls and may have even helped refine the entities into souls.
