"...a pleasure doing business with you," X admitted, a little stunned by how easily this went. "And take this too." Mattrex handed over a chip containing his weapon program, derived from his RDNA. "Consider this my contribution to saving the world. I expect immunity from charges." "You drive a hard bargain," X replied, taking the chip. "I just wish all such encounters could be so easy."
This level is the shits on Xtreme due to the ridiculous amount of Snipers at the start and the added enemies throughout. The Ride Armor portion can get a bit brutal if you are trying for No Damage. Dinorex himself isn't as bad but he can charge at random and it can be a nuisance if you are Zero.
I think if u have Ultimate Armor u can kill the Mavericks more fast and easily, cuz i got it and i just use Nova Strike to kill them, nice play using Force Armor anyway.
thanks. and yeah i used the force armor primarily for its hover ability. in fact, i even ran my X6 stages with the ultimate armor solely for its hover ability, and never used nova strike...i generally stick with buster-only gameplay. yeah when ppl saw i was using the ultimate armor for x6 i caught alot of shit, until they realized i wasnt utilizing and exploiting its full potential. because like you said, nova strike can be op...it just burns mavericks down no prob! love that hover ability tho, i developed my own style with it actually. im sad to see it go in X7 :(
I wish the fight wasn’t so anti-climatic and sluggish. Burn DinoRex’s character design looks like it should’ve fought/move at a much faster speed and pace. Instead of just lumbering around all over the place.
Well, if I fight him (in Xtreme mode), he suddenly attacks and stops, and repeats this cycle. Unlike other bosses, it's hard to predict what he's next attack gonna be, so I personally feel a little bit tricky to fight him, even though as you said he looks like lumbering all over the place.
