I agree, the only other lava bgms that are similarly chill that I can think of is Hot Head Bop from "Donkey Kong Country 2: and the Volcano area from "Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom ".

The muse of Pokemon, Hot Wheels, Final Fantasy, the list goes on, of colorful, youthful adventures that gave life meaning and made it invaluable, as well as the resonance of places I visited both outside of the game and in my imagination. I feel like this song tells a story, one of inspiration and hope, consisting of a quiet strength that gradually unfolds and a sense of longing and groaning for the fulfillment of certain hopes and dreams. This sensation is particularly impressed during the latter half prior to the loop. It outlines the annals of time and the nebula of experiences had with loved ones and in solitude, and serves as a faithful reminder of the quality and good of the past. If I am right, Mattrex was one of the surviving members of Repliforce along with The Skiver. Mattrex was a weapons manufacturer for Repliforce but was suspected of manufacturing magma energy weapons which are illegal. I assume that is what X and Zero were sent to the magma area where Mattrex by Alia to talk to him about the weapons he was manufacturing from magma energy that are illegal.
The intro is already a scorcher (no pun intended). I remembered playing this one time on loud speaker during summer and got reprimanded by my big brother when feeling already hot. The temperature reached 40 degrees C that time (9years ago) from where I live.
