- I just realized a little while ago that I had never picked any favorite blues. The truth is that I've been intimidated by the sheer number of great blue inks in my collection, and I didn't want to have to pick against any of them. But: I've done it! I made hard cuts. I didn't subdivide it too much, and I didn't make it a Top 20. Are there some extras? Sure. Whatever. It's my list!
Some of these categories are really specific, but that's how my colodex is organized, so that's what we get! These aren't in a particular order, and sometimes there are more than 5. Honorable mentions are always an option!

I can see why everybody loves Kon-Peki.
Robert Oster Australian Sky Blue
Pennonia Turkish blue looks very similar to Kon Peki on the swatches.
I miss pelikan topaz
MAYBE it's slightly too dark for a light blue, but I really love Sailor Michigan. I originally got it for the gimmick, I am a Michigander, born and raised, but it's actually this great turquoise-y color with a wonderful accent of red sheen. I like it a lot.
surprised inkebara foggy blue isn't here haha, maybe it's a bit too turqoise?
I bought the set of those Papier Plume inks, and there were five: Tutti Frutti (deep pink), Bubblegum, Spearmint (light green), Plum (nice purple) and Tiger's Blood (dark red). I like them all quite a lot.
My favorite light blues might be too dark for your list: Monteverde Caribbean Blue, Waterman Inspiration Blue, and Stipula Calamo Azzuro (this is old and may not be available any more).
Oh right! I think I was mixing them up with the Mardi Gras set. So many inks, so little brains.
There’s Sheaffer Coastal Blue ~ or did that one end up with the turquoises? All these are lovely light blues..

hhm. I'm not sure what category that goes in. It might be in a bin I call "The Pales" or maybe in the "Multichrome" bin.

The Yuramekus have their own category. 😆
