Hi Rachel. I have a complex cyst on my right ovary as well. Waiting 5 weeks for another ultrasound.. did you end up having the procedure?

I’ve had a known ovarian cyst on my left ovary for over three years. When I found out about it it was 10.5cm. All the doctor said is “we will watch it”. Three years and 2 gynaecologists later I am being booked in for urgent surgery. The newest Doctor couldn’t believe it has been left untreated and says anything over 6cm needs to be removed ASAP. The last 8 months or so I have been experiencing mild to severe pain in my left abdomen, and under my rib. No doctors have been able to find out why. Did anyone else have pain in their ribs from on ovarian cyst? I also have been having constipation and bowel problems for months.

My sister was told she had ovarian cysts and chose to do nothing about them. They turned into Ovarian Cancer and 18 months later she died. Get those cysylts checked out!

Please do not settle for the "your age crap." So tired of docs saying that when people are suffering and dying because docs don't want to test.

Literally similar story. Thought i was crazy because they couldnt find any issues until it ruptured and irritated my appendix. Wishing you the best.

As someone who blindly trusted my doctor, even when things seemed to not add up, please please get second opinions. Don’t let them have you wait months before being seen again, because it only took 3 weeks for my “hemorrhagic cyst” (it’s not a hemorrhagic cyst btw) to blow up three times it’s size. Now I have surgery tomorrow (with the same doc unfortunately because I don’t really have time to get a second opinion at this point) to have it removed and since it’s fairly large now I could lose my ovary and Fallopian tube. Also, no one told me that was a possibility two months ago. It’s just an all around shitty situation.

Omg that is horrible, I'm so sorry you are going through that! I hope you're surgery went well! I ended up being referred to a gynecologic oncologist and am also going to have surgery! I'll be posting an updated video for part 2 soon! I'm just waiting until I get some more results back first!

@@RachelGreene I had it removed along with the right ovary and the fallopian tube as a precaution. The relief was unreal, labour pain didn't compare to this pain. I had been experiencing pelvic pressure and pain for some time. Thanks for sharing your experience 😊

I totally understand regarding insurance being expensive..went to ER in April. We didn't know then if it was an appendicitis or something else. Turned out it was a liver cyst and ovarian cyst and kidney stone. $2,300 later. If I did not have insurance 5988

Hey Rachel! thank you for sharing this with all of us. I am going through something similar, I actually just had a hysterectomy in December 2021 just five months ago. Few weeks ago I start having the same symptoms that you mentioned. To make the long story short I have a 9cm cyst on my right ovary. I am scheduled to have surgery to remove it. I am looking for part 2 video I can't find it. Do you mind sharing the part 2 video? I hope you are doing well.

Hi Rachel, I am sorry to hear about your cyst experience and hope you are doing well. I found this video very comforting and informative as I am currently dealing with the symptoms of a large ovarian cyst myself. During menstrual cycles while having your cyst, did pain intensify?

I had a big cyst, but I did not go to the doctor . I was ashamed, because I did not know what it was ! I was 37 years old that time . When I went to the doctor she told me that I have to go to a surgery and they have to remove my ovaries .

  • @elizabethorozco692

My doctor scheduled me for a diagnosic laparoscopy to remove the cyst but he said he would most likely be taking to ovary and the fallopian tube. At the preop I asked if he could save it and he wasn’t really clear just saying that it had to all go. But I’ve read that removing the ovary is last resort and should only be done if torsion has occurred OR it’s tumor or cancer

I'm literally having the same damn thing (not the water thing lol) I've been going to the doctor for about a year. Every time I've ever went to the doctor they ever have an idea what's wrong. Now I'm getting yet another ultrasound sound to look at CA125 and this really big mass on my right side.
