Its a nice simple light with switch and a touch of industrial design with allen bolts , I'm a fickler for getting things right though so I would have had to change the switch and lamp holder to one more from the time or a copy obviously, also allen bolts started in 1909 so the bulb would have to change as well but that is just me, not the builder of this light, I have to get things right to their times!! ..... Its a pity about the damage caused to the top surface, little bit more care with speed and tools would have stopped that. good design though. subscribed.

Beautiful. But i would replace this white plastic socket. It ruins the whole thing. A bronze metallic would fit much better

Some walk through would of been nice. You should change the title from DIY to watch me make a lamp.
