      GMA sold out all their first run of cars stright out the gate, that's 325 not inexpensive cars all spoken for, that's bloody impressive for a brand new car maker. I don't remember how well pagani or koenigsegg did when they first started, but they would not have sold as many as that, mind you a car designed by Gordon Murray is an automotive equivalent of a painting by picasso, the values of those cars will only go up

      It's more likely the result of wanting to put the driver in the center, where u put the passengers? That's right, flanking both sides of the driver so, it's just natural engineering, if one doesn't come to that conclusion first someone else will, and someone else will again, and may have not seen each other work.

    • @AlbertManiscalco
      @AlbertManiscalco 17 днів тому +1

      @ cool story, but the timeline doesn’t add up. He got the idea from the 365. End of story… no matter what you say, guess which one came first? Therefore, even if he didn’t get the idea from him, which he obviously did, (for reference he started working in F1 in 69 and the 365 was created in 66), so history shows who came up with it first, regardless, and that can’t be rewritten no matter how much he (and his worshipers) try to pretend he didn’t get the idea from the 365 😁
      even in the video, they make a point of the fact that he “was into everything cool 20 years ago” they essentially make him out to be a hipster, so there is zero chance he wasn’t aware of the 365… and I will grant you that three seats in that orientation is the superior set up, however, only somebody who is a fanboy would take your perspective. It’s obvious to anybody else... and it’s OK that he took the idea. It’s just that he’s been given full credit and in all the interviews, I’ve seen him in while doing promotion for this car it became clear that he wasn’t trying to give any credit and was taking full advantage of the fact that nobody remembers.
      Also, don’t get me wrong he’s probably my favorite living car designer by a wide margin, but the fact that he tries to take full credit for the idea has always rubbed me wrong

      Frohes neues Jahr, Ramsi!
      Ja, "Tech" is hier auch jede Menge verbaut, aber nur da wo es auch wirklich Sinn macht! Ansonsten liegt der Fokus hier auf dem Wesentlichen! Gut, der Fan hinten gefällt mir optisch immer noch nicht so wirklich... Aber es geht ja auch um Performance und ultimatives Fahrverhalten! Ja, auch wenn der F1 marginal schöner aussieht, so ist der T.50 definitiv das bessere Auto! Wobei beide Motoren etwas spezielles haben! Das geile Ansauggeräusch des S70 im F1, genauso wie der Hochdrehzahlsound im T.50!😍
      Auf jedenfall hat hier Gordon sein 2. Meisterwerk für's Leben geschaffen!👌
      Aber der T.33 gefällt mir auch! Fast gleich viel Drehzahl und Sound aber ein mehr klassisches Sportwagen Design und Layout. Für Leute, denen ein T.50 zu exotisch oder extrem ist...

      Ich brauche praktisch 'n T50 und ein T33 Spider 😜
      Normalerweise mag ich keine Spider... lieber Coupés... aber beim T33 kann man die hintere Scheibe runter fahren... das ist bei dem Motor bestimmt Ohrgasmisch 🤩
      Die beiden Carbondach Elemente passen vorne in den Kofferraum ❕☝🏼

    Gordon is awesome...I'd walk around with the Car and Driver Magazine with the silver F1 on the cover all day rambling about it's tech. It's gonna be faster than a Ruf, Sledgehammer, and F40! I was about 14 and just amazed by the car. Always heard the story that Kenwood was the only company that could make a CD player for the F1 that was light enough compared to other brands would love to know if the little stories like that are true.

    What is needed is fun cars under 50k dollars....that look nice and are reliable and LIGHT.
    If you want to save the sport/cars, do this.
    The A110 was sort of on the right path....ashame it never got to the US. Miata is pretty much all we have in the US or old 911's...the latter are too costly. Now if a company made a 50 k 911 that was 2400 lbs....that would be the bees wax.
