I grew up in Durban. South Africa has SO much to offer. It's a beautiful country. I love their presentation. 80% protestant was interesting indeed. When you say to someone, I'll pray for you, will hardly ever be offensive!
Just an afrikaner south african here feeling proud of my gooorgas country. My faveourite people in SA is the Cape coloured people. They are hilarious, with the best humour and accent❤❤❤
I'm South African though I speak 6 of our official languages I used to think that speaking at least 3 languages was pretty standard in the world. Until I traveled overseas and they started calling me multilingual. I never understood why people thought that was impressive cause my dad can speak 9 languages and I thought I was a bit lacking. 😅
I totally get you! Lots of people outside of Africa speak only 1 language. Speaking 3 languages is intelligent good job! And your dad is a boss!
True, an average South African speaks at least 6 languages but understand the rest.
@@mokeumapoko1992 ?????what south africa are u living in
@@9_9_9editzoff course , I can speak,write or understand, Sesotho,Sepedi,English, Afrikaans,Zulu,Xhosa, Venda..so an average South African is multilingual
@9_9_9edit a South Africa where we speak more than 3 languages

This video just makes me love my fellow South Africans ❤ 💕 ♥ south 🇿🇦
Same here ❤
Let me clarify the "controversy" in 20:56. I think CONTEXT is very important. Africans were migrating from one place to the other because of food since they were hunters and subsistence farmers. There were no borders. What they knew is that they were in Africa. Khoisans were also economic migrants however, they were doing rounds around Southern Africa. That is why we have khoi people in Namibia, South Africa and Botswana. Africa was one.
Exactly! That point was not necessary to add. Thanks for explaining real history
@@BANGA2TIMEZ 100%
@@BANGA2TIMEZ,
It is very important! We Aboriginals have been marginalized by many others and are not benefitting. Pls talk more than you will understand the need that this is the most important point, that even our government is shying away from.
hi i am am a 57 jear old white afrikaanse speaking mail love south africa the best place to be
After 3rd largest Hospital in the world.... they should have mentioned the first human heart transplant took place in SA🇿🇦 in Cape Town
I love how you appreciate all our differences. Watching this with you made me appreciate our differences where we are from
Im proud that you talk so highly of our country, thanks alot bro!
They’re talking nonsense we didn’t migrate from nowhere… we were nomadic and the whole of Africa was our home…Khoisan are Africans! Stop dividing us…
💯💯💯I agree
Most well developed rail network in Africa. . .that just says a lot about the rest of Africa. 😂
Thank you so much for reacting to this video bro 🇿🇦💪🏼
No problem ! Much love 🇨🇦x🇿🇦
Stop spreading misinformation
@@nceboxesibe4973 which ?
@@BANGA2TIMEZ the whole video is based on white perspective based information non of it is from the source or the owner of the story it's all natives of the colonisers
South Africa's beauty and culture will make you shed tears.
A suggestion: could you react to the South African national anthem? Especially one sung at a rugby match.
Thank you will do!
I'm South African but you teaching me too. BIG UPS
Much love ❤️
I just love your reactions!! You are so cool! ❤
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate you🙏🏾🙏🏾 stay blessed
So much information for such a shot time
I'm from South Africa, and I'm an athlete in high school when we do war cries before a race it motivates me to do the best I can and feels like the school is pushing me to new heights
Meant for Reaction of war cries from South Africa
When you come to Cape Town, pull in at my place, I will braai for you. We will have a great time bro! Also, Groove has many names, including Jol.
I’m on Instagram @banga2timez thank you
I am a South African to be precise i am Zulu/Swazi but i just got schooled about my country
No you didn’t! Because YOU are THE CULTURE!!!🗣️🗣️🗣️

I am happy to get knowledge about my country 🇿🇦 🤞 now will be much easier for you to blend in much appreciated we can't wait to host or live here forever why not
Thank you so much for the invitation 😀! Yes now I know what to expect! I’m loving the country and its dynamics! Much love
It is definitely controversial to say that, because those are normal migration patterns from the ancient times. The original people were in the eastern part of Africa (Eden) known as EMBO by Nguni's.
Thank you for spreading the truth 🙏🏾🙌🏾
Bruh mans said "Kalamari"😂
a very serious & informative video but your reactions are hilarious 🤣😂
Glad you like them!😅 thanks for watching ❤
It's Football ⚽️ 🙌
I'm South African
My boy Kutenda bromi play rugby with him and im not surprised his on this
It's sad😢 though that part of our Johannesburg area has been destroyed even Ponte City doesn't exist anymore the building is still standing but it's not operational anymore
One thing about South Africans they very friendly people
Our population is not made of groups and a bunch of groups of people but nations with kings and chiefs (excluding whites of course) Proudly Zulu 🇿🇦
That's a blatant lie, yes we also have groups.
Im going to 🇳🇦 soon cant wait
Awesome 🇳🇦🙏🏾!! Namibia ❤️
Actually, contrary to popular belief, Gqebera is not a Xhosa word but Khoisan.
Love you kiddo, I already advised you to invest in South Africa. I am here in Kleinburg Vaughan, Ontario. I love your shows, come home.
we need you
They are failing to say Kalahari which is Kgalagadi but because colonisers failed to pronounce the name Kgalagadi they called it Kalahari
Colonizers 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
That Anglophone ineptitude even today is my pet peeve. People should respect indigenous people by learning to pronunciate.
Let us help to pronounce our names correctly EG. Maputo maputsa
You should come visit, man! I am personally inviting you for a BRRRRRRRAAAAAI!
That migration story is really controversial... 300AD? why did she even care to mention it? Ofcoz White South africans never forget to mention that.
They are pushing their propaganda that they found the place empty
I think CONTEXT is very important. Africans were migrating from one place to the other because of food since they were hunters and subsistence farmers. There were no borders. @@mokeumapoko1992 Thanks Sir, Perfectly put. In Europe it also happened the same way hence Briatain has a mix of ethnicities who now identify as English. This is how white South Africans try to deligitemise the black persons of S.A and drive a wedge between Africa's and most especially S.A's indeginous peoples.
OH WOW YOURE SUCH A RACIST! oh wait.. youre black so you believe you can't be racist..
Don't be racist
As a Canadian you should know about Ladysmith, as there is a town in Canada that was named after the original after the 2nd Boer War.
Ladysmith I think it’s in my province. But I didn’t know that wow thanks
@@BANGA2TIMEZ grew up in the original, only reason I know 😂
We call it soccer but its actually football. You play the ball with your feet, unlike the American "football "
The bushveld is NOT where they marked it. Their marker is just above Gauteng. I think they're a bit confused. (And no, it's not calamari).
Their posts are getting bettter, but they have numerous errors. Also, we no longer have the highest incidence of HIV. (Their linguistic and genetic info is also a bit ooph. - I think Catherine has been outside of SA a bit too long to know SA culture properly - "I am an English" lol)
Technically Fynbos is just South Africa's name for shrubland and so is found in other parts of the world that has a Mediterranean climate. They just have another word for it in other parts of the world.
Chaparral (California), matorral (Chile, Mexico, and Spain), macchia (Italy) and kwongan (Southwest Australia) amongst others.🌱
He definitely did say Calamari and my face mirrored yours...
And that hospital and all state hospitals are practically non functioning. Corruption has been the reason for this destruction. Our people suffer.
i heard "calamari" also lol
We had to have networks cause of our Ports. Maybe get a little knowledge on our history on Jan Van Reebek.
The artist you pointed at in the picture is Lira. Def South African. They forgot kwaito..
That Bantu migration part is pure lies, bantu people have been is South Africa for decades because but because when the Dutch came to South Africa their first encounter was with the khoi San, but already there was other people living here. Never forget the colonizers create stories to fit their narratives
Exactly.. lol Abantu nation 👌🏾 that’s why u saw me hesitate I didn’t agree
Das rite
Portuguese were the first Europeans to land at the Cape, they found Khoi, Bushman and Bantu in the cape. The
Dutch are The Johnny come lately about 150 yrs after Francisco Almayda was killed by Khoi with a poisoned arrow raiding Cattle. Yes sir.
Whole lotta cap .......
All lies!!!
The one and only tradisionele that South Africa refuses to keep alive or even accept is that of the Khoisans and the reason why they wouldn't keep it alive or accept is because they would then need to accept that fact that south africa actually belonged to the Khoisan people who the Bantu took it from and claimed as their own.
9:00 lol yip he said Calamari.. 😂 It's the Kalahari he is referring to and miss spoke
I was confused😂
When she talked about the bantu's she did say "believe it or not".
Subbed
🇿🇦🇿🇦👊💯
In 1962 we became a republic from being the Union of South African we were British ruled
Someone smack that dude for saying calamari 😂
My people
All ocean east of the 20th meridian is Indian Ocean, west of that is Atlantic. That happens at Agulhas, not Cape Point. Cape Town Intl airport is rated the best in Africa, though not the busiest. Cape Town often is rated the world #1 or #2 city.
Hey Banga check out Maphungubwe civilization, you will learn that black Bantu South Africans have been here for thousands of years but colonizers will forever teist historyfor their own benefit.
We have a new Zulu King. His Majesty King Misuzulu kaZwelithini ❤️ I’m still so greatly saddened by the passing of his late Majesty King Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu 🕊️
The Bantu are definitely inhabitants! I’m glad you caught that!
L0L she called apartheid a controversial system! It was literally a crime against humanity 😐
Yes, the apartheid era is one that I will always be ashamed of in our country' history😢
I also don't think we should buy this notion that we migrated to South Africa recently, I mean it's been found that Nelson Mandela had more Khoisan genes in him than any other tribe, so this and the fact that Xhosa has so many clicks and it has assimilated to the Khoisan so deep, for that to happen naturally it would take many centuries, but all in all let's build up rhe best South Africa we can and put our differences aside, however I'm doing so we must not be shy to hold the bull by its horns to address the disparities of the past...
Banga, you are to do this not none africans, I hold you to it.
Hi, pls feel free to chat with me about our country, Ile share what I know. The Banto migration did happen. Parliament members admit it on videos, I love South Africa and all its people. Our. Coulerds are descendents of the Khoi and the San, Aboriginals of South Africa I am humbled by your appreciation of our beloved country. Jesus bless you my brother ❤
it all starts like this reating to sa staff then a visit a visit turns into not wanting to go back home just ask mensa mayn hes still in sa
Are you predicting the future ?🤔
It was nice watching u , not to creepy and stuff😊
I never migrated from no where, I am an African, there was Africa before not South Africa
I'm from Bloemfontein city of 🌹
my friend...if u try milktart then youre gonna get addicted instantly, and u are gonna struggle to find it anywhere else
History is history bro, don't disregard it just because you don't like it
Our royalty hardly ever get media coverage. Journalists should inform us better.
Remember most coloured people are multiracialy mixed and not biracial
My man. The white lady from south Africa is purely telling the story from a colonial point of view which most of it is lies. Especially the the bantu migration story.
Hehe yea I do my research 🧐 some things were funky
Do geography now Jamaica
Alright I shall
Jol=white groove 😅
The Koisan people lived in SA. 3rd century yes, but it took centuries for the other black people to move and infiltrate into Southern Africa. Where is the Geography??? Politics is not Geography!! If you don't live here, you don't know what it's really like...
Okay... I'm not leaving anymore, SA is my crazy planet, Did I tell you we have Dricus Duplessis? And nkazimulo Zulu boy Zulu?? Oh... We also have Kaizer Chiefs which I hate
Who and what are they? Put me on
AHH milke tart...
It was the way the white people or the colonisers used to divide and rule in the entire Southern African Countries. People were divided into four categories according to colour skin. The lighter skinned you were the better opportunities and were treated better. The geography is biased not the truth. They always say Vasco Da Garma discovered this and that like the owners or natives of these countries did not exist. Annoying
Real south Africans don't use the word jol we use groves
Yea😂
Jol is an older term that has been used in SA for years! Get your facts straight
th😂 Xhosa speaking...that's cap😢
yes he did say CALAMARI - tell the Dude to stop reading so fast - he mispronounce everything
That girl is supposed to be South African but she isn’t that knowledgeable
Yo the issue about black Banta people not originally from South Africa, take it with a pinch of salt, just look who is it coming from😅
😂😂😂😂😂
Jol is Afrikaans 😂
Very poor breakdown on the music! There is so much more internationally recognised genres and artists. DJ Black Coffee, Dave Mathews Band, Miriam Makeba...even Doja Cat's dad was from South Africa. Also regarding cinema, Tsotsi (Best Foreign Film), Finding Sugarman and My Octopus Teacher (both Best Documentary Film), won Oscar's, Baftas, Golden Globes amd many other awards. There are also a whole bunch of television and movie stars that have been omitted as well as fashion designers. I believe we are one of the few countries to have 4 Nobel Peace Prize recipients. In fact, Vilakazi Street in Soweto (a place you have to visit on your next Jozi trip) is the only street in the world to have produced 2 Nobel Peace Prize recipients - Mandela and Desmond Tutu. I believe the world is still going to see a lot of South Africa.
I get what you’ve saying about keeping the traditions alive re the traditional leaders, but it’s a mess. They get paid a lot, own vast pieces of property and have little to no accountability. This leads to abuses of power, and in their domains they have quite a bit of it.
They should have added someone who is black South African to balance the info and context. The Americans are doing well, but the SA girl is a bit out of touch and missing some nuances.
That white girl saying she was a King???? Wow she was a King 🤔that girl better go to the Land of her
Ancestors, I'm sorry I'm not usually troubled by racial differences, but one thing I'm good at is reading people perfectly
Elaborate I wanna hear you out!
@@BANGA2TIMEZ Her facials tell tales when she said Wow he was a King, as if it's a Joke considering that we were a British colony, she clearly has no regard for blackness of everything
@@Dumizulu_Rain hmmm so you noticed a racial undertone 🤔 good catch!
@@BANGA2TIMEZ I Don't mean to, but over the years I've been correct in detecting Aura and just dark vibes of an individual and of course I've Mastered my own bad habits to recognise fakeness in all facets and facades.
With that Said, I love all human beings and races and have no problem with no one as long as they are Pure and Authentic
@@Dumizulu_Rain power my brother it’s your intuition from the ancestors maybe!!
Quiet a bit if this is not factually or historically correct. The railway system has collapsed.
So many ill informed and incorrect points raised in the comments.
Big difference between what you would like to think and what science proves as a fact.
But hey never let the facts get in the way of your story.
I think that's controversial as well, it sounds very convenient as they are trying to wipe out the Sand people. The Zulu are from South Africa so they must stop with the nonsense
Zulu wasn't a nation until deep into the 1700s. San were here 25 000 years ago.
The Zulu nation wasn't established, we had smaller nations scattered around. AbaNgoni (AmaNguni) were in smaller groups all over South Africa. There is a reason why the languages here have clicking sounds, while other Bantu languages hardly have any clicks. You know why, stop trying that White people were here first nonsense.
Very poor breakdown on the music! There is so much more internationally recognised genres and artists. DJ Black Coffee, Dave Mathews Band, Miriam Makeba...even Doja Cat's dad was from South Africa.
It's Futbol not soccer
It's football since you control the ball with your feet and not your hands where as NFL is running with the ball in your hand and throwing it, it's just stupid calling that football.
😂😂😂😂
