Hope it helps. It may help more if you overdrive your supercharger. But in stock form, I don't see it.
@@DeathTollRacing Right now I'm breaking it in and just babying it so stock form is all I'm doing now. Once the warranty expires then I'll modify it.
@@quitoduck good plan. I like to send oil samples to blackstone labs so you can make sure it’s breaking in okay.
I just installed. I came from a BWoody so this is much less whine, but noticeably louder to me than factory. Did you notice the manifold hose didn’t properly seat onto the solenoid? Mine was a bit of a misfitment
I’m trying to remember exactly, but it does ring a bell. The install was a while ago.

I have the same truck and intake. Agreed 100% it makes no difference. When I put a K&N intake on my F250, it made a HUGE difference in aggressive sound and small amount of performance. Save your money with this intake and spend it on other upgrades.
I wish I could have done before and after dyno runs. I don't think RAM left 23hp in the intake design though.

With how awesome RAM did with the engineering of their exhaust, I doubt any aftermarket intake would be any better.

I have the same truck, same intake. At the same time I added the Livernois 975 Upgrade. I can’t say without 975, haven’t put mine on dyno yet either. But I can DEFINITELY HEAR & FEEEL A MAJOR DIFFERENCE! But that intake was cheap compared to the 975 Upgrade. I totally disagree / it’s not “louder” / that whine of the super charger / you can really hear it spooling up way more rapidly.
Yeah, I think that tone is gone in my hearing. My wife agrees with you.
How long did it take to install?
About an hour and a half. It can be done faster though.

Nice review but no dyno? You won't feel 20hp with you butt. But on our dyno it did show gains as have other tuning shops using a dyno. However I'm glad to hear you got increased mpg which shows increase in efficiency, which means you are making more power for a given rpm
The plan was to dyno before and after and we had that sitting around for 8 months and could never manage to make the time / justification. But either way, the only gain I noticed on record is the mileage. Aquila noticed the noise, but I couldn’t hear the difference. I’d like to be able to feel and or hear the difference, so for me it was a mixed review.
Seems relatively easy to gain some better fuel mileage.
