  • The world we live in is a corrupt putrifying cesspool that is in the power of the evil one. But thankfully, Jesus is saving people out of this wicked world and making them new creations. But if He's saved you out of the world, He now expects you to be like salt and make an impact on the world around you. Too many professing Christians go either to the extreme of thinking they need to become like the world or the extreme of isolating themselves from the world. But if we are to be salt, we must both be different from the world and yet still make contact with the world.

I wrote meek and quiet on my mirror to help remind me daily since I struggle with that so much. He is installing those things within me. I still struggle but I’m progressing slowly. I have my moments.

Please pray for me. I committed adultery. Now I have a incurable disease. Need help. I am suffering. Every day. Every hour. Every minute. Since January. It never recedes.

Brother Jay, please read this, I believe it can give you some hope.
This was from an old John Piper sermon. Someone asked him:
“A while back, someone asked me if I thought a Christian or a Christian family could be cursed. My answer is this. If the word of God abides in you, you overcome the evil one. No demonic curse can stand against the gracious, liberating, transforming, devil-defeating word of God when it is abiding in our hearts.”

I’m gonna get you the sermon link so you can listen to this yourself from the John Piper sermon🤍💙🙂

I understand what your saying when you say people know the real deal. I feel like no one wants to talk to me let alone touch me. I feel rejected by people but I feel in my spirit that God hasn’t rejected me. I know people don’t believe that people can have an experience but I have and I’ll never forget it as long as I live. And I’m never gonna give up in pursuing him. I fail a lot but I get back up and keep going. I know how wretched I’ve been and how undeserving I am of Heaven. But I’ve also felt his Mercy and love. He has assured me that he will never leave me nor forsake me. I’m running this race and I’m not a quitter. No matter how much people hate me. It only is making me stronger because I’m learning how to deal with it better. Rejection is difficult to deal with especially when you have no one to help you. I know I’ve been prideful and he’s brought me low. But I’ll tell you I’ll never stop fighting. Ever. I know your a brother Tim. It’s obvious. Because you are salt to me. Love you and blessings!

What a phenomenal teaching. I am only at the 35 min mark after 2 hours because I stop and take verbatim notes but this is speaking to me and I know why GOD why the Holy Spirit directed me to your ministry and I'll Be Honest. I was stagnating in a splendid isolation between my last church of 12 years that is a Salt shaker but the world got in it and it lost its savor. GOD bless you Brother Tim I have never in 72 years heard a preacher of the Word ever be curious about the properties of Salt....and what Jesus intends for us to be in the world in order to serve Him according the purpose He created us for. Glory to God!

Did Calvin die for you? Did Calvin baptize you with the Holy Spirit?
Who is your Saviour? Who gave you life? Who are you living for and representing? Whose name you have taken upon yourself is your God.

A fake faith is already a wreck. Mentioning a shipwrecked wreck is illogical because anything already shipwrecked cannot be further shipwrecked unless it was rebuilt in an intermediate stage... and in such a case it is not the same ship. Go Navy!
