I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini. Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible. It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.
Seems like many people switching from 14 Pro (Max) to a 13 Mini if they got an iPad or laptop for watching videos/series. I’m using a 14 Pro since 11 months and had a 13 Mini for a couple of days 1 week ago. I was pretty sure i‘m selling my 14 Pro but the battery of the 13 Mini was so bad that i sent it back. I also realized that i don’t feel comfortable with switching from a newer device to an older one. Anyway, the size of the 13 Mini is epic and it’s a good phone at all.
I am on the iPhone 12 mini and the 2nd GEN iPad Pro 12.9” which is still holding up for all my tasks. I was really hoping for an iPhone mini pro and upgrading to a USB-C iPad Pro to make it easier to use external SSD drives…then I would be set!
I have been an avid Android user for many years before I switched to iOS… and the reason for the switch is simply because of the Mini. Though I still look at Android phones yearning for their awesome camera setup especially the zoom feature, I’ll stay with iOS simply because of the Mini. I know of many people who are like me willing to ditch and switch simply because of the phone size. So if Apple can revive the iPhone Mini series and put it as an additional lineup (like the iPad Mini) and improve the battery life or even make a PRO model, I’m sure it’ll gain wider acceptance and adoption by more people over time…
I just returned the 13 pro (too heavy and aggravated my arthritis) and went back to my SE 2020. I definitely have my eye on the 13 mini. I wish Apple would realize some of us can't deal with a large/heavy phone. 🐬🐬🐬

I also hope they’ll get back to releasing minis. I simply don’t like how big the phones got over the last years and they are super uncomfortable for me since I have small hands and I am so much happier with my 13 mini

I agree with every point you make in this video. I upgraded from the iPhone se 2020 to the 13 mini about three weeks ago as of this writing, and I LOVE it! I purchased the se when it came out because I hate large smartphones, love the Apple ecosystem, and it was affordable for me. The 13 mini is a vast improvement - although I miss Touch ID and prefer it over Face ID. Apple discontinued the mini line after reportedly low sales of the 12 mini, but they need to reconsider returning the mini back to their lineup. Oh well, I intended on keeping my mini for several years to come.
I did this with the 14 Pro to 13 Mini. I was still in the 14 day Apple return period, so no financial loss too. Didnt take me long to miss the Mini, the 14 Pro is just so heavy in comparison
Crazy kick butt phone! Just great for moto-helmet vlogging setups. Feather light, killer screen, killer chip, same chip as in the iphone14/14 plus. Amazing!!
The Iphone 13 Mini is the phone for me. Probably the best phone I’ve had in awhile. It’s refreshing and fun. I would prefer to see smaller devices in the long run. Having to carry less weight is essential. Plus, having stuffed pockets while walking around may not be the best idea. Hope Apple will continue with the mini form factor, as an alternative for us who want to have a break from all these gargantuan phones. Sadly, This 13 mini will be the last of the breed. Shame on Apple for ending the Mini series. If Apple still want to continue with the mini, I think Apple should update the mini lineup every 2/3years.
All I have to say, I purchased the 13 mini back in December 2022 and I love it. Hopefully Apple will come to their senses and bring it back better than ever…

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I just bought an SE 3. The 12 PM is too big for daily use. I have a 12.9 inch iPad that I use at work and home so I am good to go. I am over the extra large phone as a daily driver. Enjoyed your video! Less is more!

I'm switching from a SE 128GB 1st generation to the 13-Mini 256GB. One of the things I loved about the SE was the accessories. In particular, the Mophie line. Everything from Juice Packs battery cases to table and car chargers holders (ll of which were dirt cheap to the phones age). The SE never let me down and was easy to use. Verizon offered me a deal of a $518 loyal user discount so I got the 13-Mini with 256GB for $180. I couldn't pass it up. After getting the phone I set out to find a battery backup case with Magsafe so I could use all the Magsafe accessories. To my dismay, I could not find a single battery case that had Magsafe magnets for the Desktop and Car accessories. No problem for the standard 6.1", but nothing for the Mini 5.4" :-( I looked everywhere with no success. I'm hoping the battery life of the phone itself will be sufficient for my daily use. If so, I could use a Magsafe battery pack for an extra boost, but like the Mophie Juice Pack, I would have preferred an integrated battery backup rather than carry another device. Anyone know of a battery case for the Mini that will also work (attach) to a Magsafe accessory? A fellow on an Amazon review said he had found one, but he gave no link or name of the device. After SEVERAL hours of looking for one, I've finally given up. HELP.
I bought the iPhone 13 Mini on October 3, 2022. I traded in an SE 2020 and the phone cost me $425 with the trade in. I think it's really the best iPhone value right now. I really like the size and how easy it is to fit in any of my pockets. Even the regular iPhone 13 wouldn't fit into some pockets. It's pretty great. For my use, it gets me through the entire day with 40 - 50% battery life at the end of the day.
I have the 13 MIni, and bought the 14Pro but kept the Mini in case I decided to switch back. I find the 14Pro unwieldy at times, even though I have large hands, it becomes awkward and hard on my hand to keep the balance. So considering going back to the 13 Mini and have taken some great photos on it. So maybe I might get a small camera to carry around with me for taking better shots?
13 mini my daily driver, love it. However, if I liked big phones, I would definitely get the S 23 ultra. Pixel 6a is my back up, only paid $150 with trade in. The speech recognition n recorder app, is reason enough to have 6a. I tried android for about 2 months but iOS was just more convenient for me work iPad, etc. Android has so many more useful features, notifications better, navigation better. With all that said, not sure Android is a better OS than iOS, at least not for me… at this time. That may change as I get increasingly more frustrated with apple/iOS n their refusal to make the basics of os more user friendly. Peace.

Bought this little rocket 3 months ago, coming from plus sized Samsung S phones, this felt tiny but got used to it quick. Now I don’t want bigger phones, Apple will bring back the mini series in the future and will upgrade when they do.

really need some feed back, i switched to verizon and got the iphone 14 pro for free with a trade in of my old galaxy s21, i love the camera, screen and battery life of the 14 pro but cant stand how heavy the phone is and the intrusive camera bump, i could trade it back and get the iphone 13 mini for free and still keep my galaxy s21, is the battery life and camera that much more noticeable from the 13 mini to the 14 pro?
I just got a 14 pro max, I’m trading it in for a galaxy s23 and grabbing an iPhone 13 mini but I’m biased towards Samsung and prefer galaxy’s but I love the size of the mini so I can get the best of both worlds. I regret getting the 14 pro max and imo if I were you I’d much rather have a s21 and an iPhone mini.
I would consider an iPhone 13 mini, provided you use it primarily as a phone. But if you do Internet access and a lot of texting, the regular iPhone 13/14 is a way better choice.
iphone 13 mini is one of the best phones I have ever owned. Pro Max devices are heavy bricks that makes the overall experience of using a phone a little smug. My pinky finger is still in pain due to long sessions with 14 Pro Max. Now I have iphone 13 mini and Samsung S23 as my daily drivers that i carry along all the time and they are easier to carry than 14 Promax alone
A couple of issues, firstly the mini has stereo speakers, not a single speaker. Secondly, Apple Refurbished are cheaper but nowhere near 50% cheaper. If I’ve misheard then please accept my apologies.
You've made this video from the perspective that you use an iPhone as your "secondary" device, meaning, you're not using it as much as your primary device which is the S23U. That's okay for you because you don't need the bigger, brighter phone from Apple because you already use a big Samsung phone. But what if someone's looking for a primary handset or is just looking to use one phone only.... Would you still recommend people to go for the 13 mini instead of the 14promax?? I don't think so. All I'm saying is, it's a very bold statement to say that you've left the 14promax for the 13mini. I don't see that happening realistically. If someone has the budget to buy a Bentley, why on earth would he go into an Audi showroom?
This was a good video, subscribed off of this video, I currently have just an iPhone 12 and I love it, I switched from a Huawei mate 20 Pro. I’m not too sure if I could sacrifice the battery life I get on my iPhone 12 for the 13 mini, I wouldn’t mind upgrading eventually to just the iPhone 14 pro to get just a tad more battery life than my iPhone 12, however as of recent it seems more and more people are digging a small form factor phone rather than a big honkin unwieldy one like the pro max series, I do think Apple would suck in a lot more people if they could guarantee the battery life of a pro max in a small form factor iPhone like the 13 mini as well as the guarantee of a fast chipset and gpu core that phone would be a game changer, I do believe it would be the next step in the evolution of the cellphone in general not just the iPhone, I mean with the die processes getting smaller and smaller they could probably cram all the pro max tech benefits into a mini sized phone. Hope to see more iPhone content from you in the future… ✌️

I sold my 14 pro. And got a 13 mini for $350 on OfferUp and still under Apple warranty I like it. If I want a bigger screen I use my iPad Pro 12.9

The battery life is around two hours worse but with a MagSafe battery bank you'll be fine

They could of do-away with the 15plus and ADD the 15mini in the lineup which makes wayyy more sense

I use the 13 Mini as my primary phone and Pixel 6A as secondary phone. Most of the time I go out of the house with the 13 Mini only.

🐬 and I watched this on the SGS23 Ultra. I had the iPhone 12 mini but returned it as the text was just too small for my eyes. I'd rather have a lightweight but larger phone which is why I love Samsung.
I wouldnt drop down in generation of chipset Ram and better camera and battery in favour of small size .... Evwn though i like small size.

Well I just ordered one for my wife this morning. Now I am starting to see the reviews showing that it was a good choice. She wants a small phone and she had a cheap android but it is just too cheap and unreliable.
