The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall have attended the Not Forgotten Association Annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on a drizzly day in London.
The Not Forgotten Association is a charity for the serving wounded, injured or sick and for ex-service men and women with disabilities.
Princess Anne, the charity’s patron, hosted this year’s event after the Palace announced The Queen will not be attending this year’s royal garden parties.

My first thoughts were how grand this must be seeing the guards in their best suits, How Camilla looked absolutely beautiful one of her best looks, her entire outfit superb Charles so refined Anne looked beautiful as well loved the colors on her. Amazing ❤

Love the guards in their uniforms. Ah yes the top hats and tail coats, love seeing them. Camille is not my favorite but is looking great in that outfit.

When one watches this channel one can see just how busy Her Majesty has been in the past given that over the past couple of days the fabulous five have been all over the country from attending the Opening of Parliment to the Royal garden parties to attending the memorial in Manchester and much more. It is a busy life for our BRF.

For once, I am happy to read a positive comment about Charles and Camilla. Camilla was trashed over and ever, and it was not fair. Charles is happy with her and I am sure Anne is also happy for her brother. They make a nice 73 years old couple. The queen who is so loved ( I am not a monarchist and personally I would abolish it) and she accepted the couple and is in good term with Camilla, so her subjects should do the same.

This Brit totally agrees with you. Prince Charles has worked hard his whole life and has learnt from the best what 'being a working Royal - and future King' entails. I will certainly sing "God Save the King" when the time arrives - but with tears in my eyes because that will mean our beloved Queen has gone to join her late husband.

It is exactly because they don't consider themselves 'celebrities.' The Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal were born into a particular way of life that puts duty above all else. The Duchess of Cornwall also understands this perfectly. The Monarchy is safe in their hands.

I think Princess Anne deserves more credit. She is hard working, has a good head on her shoulders, is a no nonsense person and would make an excellent queen. But I know she will never be queen. I have to say Charles and Camilla have made a lot of effort lately to be personable and speak with the public. I hope Queen Elizabeth is feeling better, but hopefully she will abdicate and be able to enjoy the rest of her life out of the public eye. She deserves this. The last couple of Dutch queens, Juliana and Beatrix have abdicated when they saw it fit and it was nice to see them be able to relax and enjoy life. Queen Elizabeth has had an amazing rein and I would be so happy if she could enjoy her retirement.
